AndrewMLind Posted May 22, 2023 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Most fans were always going to be disappointed if they didn't look like Old Bay tin cans or feature "Charm City" in the Domino Sugars sign font across the chest, but I'm going to reserve judgment until they're unveiled. I think the hat is going to be fantastic, the white wordmark reminds me of their Turn Ahead The Clock jersey and the subtle orange accents should really pop on an all-black uniform. I don't know how much people are going to be rolling up the sleeves. I have no idea how these are going to look on the field. At least the socks guys will be rolling the pants up. It would have been really easy for the Orioles to lean into the Maryland Flag theme and I'm glad they didn't. Shumway Posted May 22, 2023 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Take that hat, give it an orange visor and logo and throw that awful "O's" cap in the trash where it belongs. I'm torn on these though. I kinda dig the simplicity and cleanliness of the jersey, but I'm not feeling the idea of making the character of these jerseys a hidden element. Nike speak shouldn't be your entire brand.
