TruColor is as legit as you can get.  He's been around about as long as this board's been here, even before the board changed platforms 2 decades or so ago...first as Pantone eons ago and the ColorWerx if memory serves correctly.   Anyone remember Nitroseed's awesome Cardinals concept before the actual change occurred?

Anyway, he doesn't blow smoke or spread baseless rumors.  So if TruColor says what he's heard, I believe it came from as legitmate a source as one can feel comfortable with.  I've onky seen the guy work hard to be accurate in the past.  Anyway, just my $.02.

The logo might have minor tweaks, and the wordmark likely will change.

The helmets will be white, and stylized like the alternate black helmets we saw last year.

The uniforms will very much be within Nike's grasp, with the way the love to go flashy.

At the same time, if TruColor is wrong, it might not be entirely be him deceiving us.

So, does @TruColor really know what he's talking about? Maybe. I have my reasons to believe that this is not another @Teal situation, but at the same time, none of us can be certain he has the credibility for all these pieces of evidence. I don't expect an expert in the field like this to be completely oblivious to a Reddit faker. However, if all this evidence doesn't apply, it will be damaging to his credentials. Personally, I trust what he is saying, as he has been on this board longer than I've even been alive, and also runs his own dedicated sports colors/logo website. I wanted to mostly collect all the hints and clues that have been dropped to start forming a better idea on what is expected for the 4/20 reveal. 

 

For now, we wait.

 

 

I agree that I am putting a lot of faith into what has been told to me. However, this Reddit user and I have had a lot of conversations about these in detail, and some of the info he has provided does sound very much legit. It all feels like something Nike would do, and he has also given me some information on some other things that have also turned out to be true.

 

It’s either all legit, or a giant smokescreen. I’m banking on the former, but am also not really concerned about my “legacy” or some other kind of crap. I don’t really care. As I’ve said, I’m just anxious to see all of this as much (or more) as the rest of you. I’ve been a fan of this team for 54 years now.

One thing that's interesting to me about all this, assuming that the information TruColor has received is correct, is that the new color scheme will be more like the St. Louis Cardinals color scheme of the 1960s (top colors vs. the current color scheme on bottom) with the maroon color and yellow that's a bit darker.

 

 

But I would also be willing to bet that they will make exactly zero reference to this fact during the unveiling.

Final predictions before tomorrow, based off of nothing other than @TruColor’s hints & my own guesses:

 

• I don’t think the red shade will be ask dark as Washington’s maroon, but I could see it being a bit darker than their current red. I think they’ll pair it with a “desert” gray, a bigger presence of athletic gold, and maybe the slightest bit of orange, similar to the state flag. At that point I’d like to see them just drop gold entirely and replace it with orange, for a more unique color scheme, but it doesn’t seem like they’ll go that route.
• I’d prefer they go with “desert gray” specks on the helmet, but maybe they’ll be gold? Something to do with sunshine? I think we’ll see the 3D logo, but in desert cardinal colors. I have no idea what color the facemask will be, but my guess is it’ll be white, since every other color seems to be off the table. I think an orange or a red facemask would’ve been nice.
• I can see the jersey having the Arizona flag stemming from below the collar, much like @Jeffery’s concept, but fitting to the new Vapor Fusion template. I have a feeling his concept might end up looking better than the final product, though.
• If there are indeed 4 jerseys, I have no idea what they could all be… Cardinal & white are a given (I hope), but beyond that… maybe desert gray and gold, with one of the two being the Color Rush? Who knows. 

Even though I likely won’t be able to see it until Friday morning because I’m 6 hours ahead of the East Coast currently, I’m still quite excited for this reveal.

• a bold gradient blend of gold and maroon, called Friendly Fire, a touching tribute to Pat Tillman
• a league first - gray turf, an homage to the many generations of fans who have died, never having seen the team win a Super Bowl

The Jags didn't officially leak until the morning of the reveal from the airport graphic. A few locals and friends of friends had the Nike concept sheets that were sent to the team a few months before though. I had the concepts two and a half months before the unveiling. The black jerseys were originally supposed to have teal numbers and they played around with 4 different fonts and different stripes on cuffs and the pants. We didn't know for sure that those concepts would be what they went with though.

Don’t know anything re: the Lions, and I just got an updated Panthers sheet that doesn’t show any changes other than a new set of Blue pants.

Does anyone actually have high hopes for this unveiling? There has been an absurd amount of speculation and anticipation, yet have we heard one thing that suggests this will be a nice clean rebrand and not an overly designed Commanders/Bucs/Titans kind of uniform set? I still don't understand why they seem to be ditching their cardinal red.
