As I type this there are almost the same number of posts on the NFL instagram about Taylor Swift attending the Chiefs game as there are about the Dolphins scoring 70 points

We're never going to hear the end of this are we?

Not until they break up and she writes 5 songs about him.

Oh, and Taylor Swift is at Arrowhead. Only a matter of time before she bangs the bigass drum.

If she doesn't call one of those songs "Bang the Drum Slowly" we have failed as a species.

It’s really kinda lame how these new Super venues have just turned into satellite facilities for a lot of road teams. I was half paying attention to the game while cleaning and I thought for a chunk of the game that it was in Pittsburgh with how the crowd was cheering. SoFi has been the same, with basically the entire crowd in red when the 49ers play there. It even happens in places like Dallas, which is wild to me.

When the Seahawks are good, it's like $400 to get in the building. The greater Seattle are is pretty well off, so they can fill the building.

But with the general rising pricing of sports across the board, it does feel like if the locals don't care (like, say, the Chargers), then it feels like the building is only accessible to wealthy out-of-town fans.

It's a really weird dynamic.

Enjoy your meaningless win, Cardinals.

Remember this when you end up missing out on a QB and you can't move off Kyler AKA Combat Duty Zach Wilson

This draft looks to be comparatively loaded at QB.  They will be fine.

Unless Caleb Williams just looks at whomever the top five teams are and says, "I can squeeze another year of college ball out of this" either Chicago or Arizona will be able to ruin another young QB next year. Chicago put Fields back in after a concussion for crying out loud!

Probably depends on who the head coaches are next year.  If his college coach makes the jump to the NFL (and that seems highly unlikely), it will be hard for him to stay another year.

Caleb Williams is going to find it pretty difficult to avoid an "unfavorable" situation, given that he is a top projected pick and the worst teams right now are almost all pretty dysfunctional. It would be funny if say, the Bears, get the number one pick next year and he decides to avoid them... only for the same team to get the top pick the following year, right where he would be projected.

Is Belichick only still hanging around coaching because of Shula’s record for wins?

it Feels like he’s hanging on for a vanity accomplishment

Maybe he likes coaching?

The Eagles new OC is in way over his head.  I get that he's got a long relationship with Hurts and was his QB coach last year, but for calling plays he's just overmatched.  The Eagles are going to lose games this season because of him, and right now they don't have many better options other than Siriani calling plays, which didn't go well the last time he did.

I hope Shane Steichen fails in Indie.  Not because I dislike him, but quite the opposite.  I hope he fails so maybe he'll come back.

EDIT:

Just when you think it can't get worse.  Why run when it's working?  Why design plays that don't have 6 guys covering the tight end?  This team is F'd.  Arguably the most talented roster in the league, but should be 0-2 and may be lucky to win 10 games if this dope can't figure out how to call a game.

EDIT:

Complete embarrassment.  At least the announcers had the guts to point out the play calling.
