I see this all the time, like "he's some loser that paid for his checkmark", but a lot of legitimate media people do it because it allows them to make longer posts (instead of the "photo of words" post or a whole thread) and edit them. For the news reporters I follow, it's really beneficial for them. It's not just a way of posing as someone important. 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." Red Comet
Joe Thuney (all-pro guard) and Derrick Nnadi (the Chiefs’ best runstuffer) are out, Willie Gay (the Chiefs’ usual QB spy), Mike Edwards (underrated ballhawk) and Isaiah Pacheco are questionable and Marc Andrews just got activated off the IR. Those of you looking for a cathartic beatdown of the Chiefs (most of you I assume) are probably going to be in for a treat tomorrow as the final injury report is giving me Super Bowl LV vibes what with all the battered talent. AFAIC, they got one game further than I thought they would so I’m alright with whatever happens. Edited January 27 by Red Comet

That's rough but on the other hand they've ruled out Kadarius Toney which is a huge blow to the Ravens defense

Even though it seemed like a very obvious out-of-bounds to me? If one team runs out of time on a comeback drive at the game, that's going to be big. Edit: From the NFL drive summary. Pushed out of bounds, but next play didn't start until 39 seconds later on the game clock. Surprised no one pointed this out, but the clock re-starts after an out of bounds play prior to the 2:00 warming in the first half and the 5:00 mark in the fourth quarter. Sorry, nothing wrong here. 1 Quote It's where I sit.

BBTV
Football is the hardest sport in the world to explain the rules to someone. "The rule is this up until 2 minutes left in the 2nd q, then it changes, then goes back to it for the next 25 minutes of the game, then with 5 minutes left, it goes back to what it did in the last 2 mins of first half." "You can do x within 5 yards of the LOS, unless the QB does y, in which case you can only do x within a yard (or whatever)" It's no wonder it's not more popular world wide. 2 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." Wait… you hate the Minnesota Vikings? That’s hilarious! That’s like hating…. I don’t know, like the Indiana Pacers, or old Scooby Doo reruns. Or your four year old nephew who occasionally says annoying things. What could the Vikings have possibly done to the fans of any other team to create the least amount of offense? The Vikings are completely inoffensive because they never really win, and they wear purple on top of it which makes the whole thing more magnified. I’m convinced their whole vibe would be different if they would’ve worn royal blue instead. If you’re gonna wear purple and wanna be taken seriously, you gotta be the Ravens. Win more than you should, and have the face of your franchise be a legit murderer. It’s the only way to counter that being your primary color. 1 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) The_Admiral
The Ravens fanbase necessarily has a larger quotient of white people who quote The Wire, so they're easily more contemptible than Minnesota's brand of affable snobbery. 1 1 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Lack of rule consistency is an issue. And since the NFL, which is marketing the sport, is in charge of their own rules and not an independent body, they make rule changes ONLY for game flow and time restrictions of broadcasts instead of consistency of rules and what makes for a better game. They also sped up the game but then added more commercial slots.
