Jamikel
NO team has perfect striping throughout. And with the disagreement in what's considered consistent, there really is no way there can be perfection. Not so, historically... I give you the Earle Bruce Ohio State Buckeyes (1980s) and the Earl Campbell Houston Oilers (also 80's, also a guy name Earl... coincidence?). Those Oilers unis had the EXACT same stripe on their white helmet, blue jersey, white jersey, blue pants, white pants, blue socks AND white socks. AWESOME. Very possibly the greatest uniform in NFL history IMO.Yes, but the eye is drawn to different aspects of the stripes based on the jersey/pants color. On the blue jerseys, the white becomes the focal point, but on the whites, the blue and red stripes stand out more. So can having identical stripes really be consistent if they lead to two different effects? Not that I care, but if you're going to be this anal about consistent striping, then I'm going to do everything I can to ruin those Oilers uniforms for you. elliott
I dont wanna be That Guy, but ...Florida.No. The pants stripes' widths are completely wrong. Living in the south I watch them play basically every week during the season and that has always bothered me immensely. It's not perfect. Dribbble ... -(dp)-
Well, how about we just take this a step further, then. Those Oilers throwbacks aren't truly consistent, either. (aside from the fact that the relative sizes of the stripes on the jerseys are different from those on the pants/helmet) For them to be truly, completely consistent, they would have to be on the same base color also, so monochromes for everyone!!! I will take you guys seriously when you can come up with a decent amount of current NFL uniforms that have more striping consistency than these. Good luck finding those! dennisbergan
um, yeah... the "throw 'em backs" bit isn't really catching on.And, Dennis, did you notice the Lions new sox have (gasp!) a stripe? That had to send you into a conniption-fit Yes it is, if it got your goat. And, no, I don't consider that thin black outline, at the top of the solid blue sock, a "stripe". Denver also has these.Too bad, striped sock lovers!

Just because you don't consider that a stripe doesn't mean that us striped sock lovers can't chalk it up as a minor victory to all that is good and right in the world. Democracy! More than 2 meatballs with your pasta order! Free Porn! Pizza that folds horizontally! Purple Road pants! And striped sox!!! LukeMayeux
I dont wanna be That Guy, but ...Florida.Helmets don't match the jerseys, and as someone has already mentioned the width on the shoulders does not match the width on the pants. Plus their pants sometimes resemble SOD now because their stripes seem to creep to the back leg somehow on smaller players. They do deserve credit for keeping their striping colors consistent jersey to jersey, but they're overall striping pattern is not entirely consistent.Auburn comes close, but according to the stricter rules, they change the shoulder stripes between white and blue. Oh and also just remembered their pant stripes only have 3 stripes and not 5.
BJ Sands
I think this Pats set is about as close as there is. The colors are red-white-blue everywhere. Even the jersey.
