EatSleepJeep
I need Iowa to win the next two at home and then go into the Shoe and beat OSU so they get cocky and strat saying things like "National Championship." I believe the Gophers are still quite bitter about the Hawkeyes running up the score on Minnesota in the Dome last year and would love nothing more than spoiling UI's perfect season. Please let Minnesota be like the 1993 Boston College team... I can't remember the last time Tennessee's fieled a bad defense.
oddball
I didn't say that Tennessee had a bad defense, what I said was a dominant defense that could shut teams down. I seem to remember a few games against Florida where the so-called defense of Tennessee never left the locker room. Dominant defenses step up against top level offenses, and Tennessee hasn't always done that.

If they do turn out to be a dominant defense for years and the Bucs keep floating down the same river of :censored: they are right now defensively, the loss of Monte Kiffen is gonna hurt worse than even imagined. Seadragon76
Well, goodbye Iowa, thanks for playing, nice to prove the Big Ten can't keep a team unbeaten either.Well, someone who is clearly Anti-Iowa and Anti-Big Ten has to do this...But, I blame YOU for allowing the Lucky Bastards to stay unbeaten. If you ask me, anyone who think they should be in the National Championship conversation needs to have their head checked. Those close games... If they go the wrong way, Iowa is starting down the barrell of a .500 season and probably head to a no name bowl game.

I think the computers will be favoring Alabama's strength of schedule over Florida's at the end of the season, and thus could have the higher computer numbers to withstand a loss. It's just how good the SEC is - they probably have six of the top 10 teams in the country, it's just that they keep beating each other up.

If they go the wrong way, Iowa is starting down the barrell of a .500 season and probably head to a no name bowl game.1-State continues to hold the distinction of "that team" in the Big Ten. "That team" refers to the school who is generally 4th to 6th place every year, but has the talent to be better and once every class they can take the step up to the next level and win a championship and they fail. There is one in every conference.*This is different than the team which still lives on the last generaltion, like Clemson, Georgia (LSU was in this category before the Saban era), Colorado.2-Randy Shannon has to get his team together ASAP. They lost their shot to go to the BCS, but since they are so young, having the season fall apart now will hurt through next season. 3-Will BYU be ranked again this year? Getting waxed at home twice is not good, but for their sake, the game was on Versus.4-Only one will go to the BCS between Boise St. and TCU, because Notre Dame should win out and get in. dfwabel
Here is the AP breakdown.Week 9 AP PollBoth Boise St. and TCU have votes as the #4 team but the writers. 11 writers have Bosie St. as #4, only six voted for TCU. BTW, USC has 23 votes as #4.

But yeah, the writers are trying their damndest to put USC back at the top. Also, at least Oklahoma is over .500 so they can at least have that to justify being in the poll. Sport
I have two tickets to the Ohio State-Minnesota game tomorrow. Everyone I know has other plans (more like OSU lost 2 games already this season and nobody wants to go) so I'm taking my mom. I've been to 4 OSU games with her, the Buckeyes are 4-0, but it has rained at every game we've been to together. The forecast for tomorrow? Rain.Couldn't you find a girl to take to the game?Just saw this today so the answer is Yes, I found a girl to take to the game, my girlfriend of 3 years. She had to work, and I couldn't find a buddy that either didn't already have tickets or who actually wanted to go. My dad was at work so I took my mother (a two-time graduate of Ohio State University) to the game. It did in fact rain.
