WJMorris3
If the Reds could sweep the Phils in 2, they would. The Phillies just don't have the pitching to match up with the Reds - chalk it up to an easy Reds sweep in 3. Meanwhile, the Braves extend their season even more by outlasting the Giants in 5.Over in the AL, I think the Rangers surprise us all, knocking out the Rays in 4, while the Yankees take care of business against the Twins in 5.ALCS, I'm taking the Rangers in 6 and the Reds in 4.Reds in 4 over the Rangers to win the World Series and become the first team since the '76 Reds to have a perfect postseason. Not gonna lie, thats good stuff, now you just owe me a new keybord, Mr. Morris.I didn't mean those as a joke, those are really my predictions. The Reds will go 11-0 this postseason. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron.

The likelihood of them winning every game against these opponents is very small. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a moron...or a troll.

BBTV
Polanco out with some kind of back injury - this really Fs the Phils lineup, because Rollins probably wouldn't have batted leadoff but now has to as Victorino is the only other viable option for #2 hitter. Backend is now weaker with Valdez at 8, so "Señor Octobré" Carlos Ruiz will need to continue doing what he's doing in the 7 hole. FiddySicks
So far so good for the Rangers right now, 5-0 in the 5th.BTW, what's the point of having "aerial coverage" over Tropicana? It's a freaking dome! On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)

Lights Out
Well, this sucks. I didn't see us beating Cliff Lee anyway, but I didn't think we'd be drummed this badly. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

TFoA
Pardon my baseball ignorance, but how the hell did Jeff Francoeur end up in Texas, & end up being somewhat successful in this playoff game?I'm not complaining. Now that he isn't a Met, I actually feel good about seeing him succeed. Good game, Rangers. Nice.

Nice.He was traded at the end of August in return for Joaquin Arias, who might be one of the worst baseball players of all time. Had an excellent September (.860 OPS) and showed that he could still hit the hell out of lefties, so he's platooning for the post season. infrared41
Well, this sucks. I didn't see us beating Cliff Lee anyway, but I didn't think we'd be drummed this badly. The Rays needed to get Lee in the first inning when they had the bases loaded. As I was watching I kept saying "if you don't get him now you're not going to." Lee was a little off to start but you could see he was finding his game as that inning progressed. Once he struck out Pena it was too late. Lee had found his groove at that point and that was pretty much that. The Rays will be fine. I still think they're the better team of the two. Also, can someone explain to me again why the Angels thought they no longer needed Bad Vlad?
JayJaxon
That's just a case of Lee being Lee. I don't have a horse on the AL side, but I pretty much don't care who gets in as long as it's not the Yankees. I would love to see the Twins beat them and go on to the ALCS against Tampa or Texas. The Twins against either of those teams would be a good series.
