So I had a flash of OCD a couple days ago worrying about the BCS. What if Arkansas wins today, and Alabama beats Auburn? How does the BCS shape up? This is what I ended up with (results of some games are my predictions; I can end up being wrong):

1. Arkansas (11-1)

2. Alabama (13-1; SEC Winner)

3. Oklahoma State (11-1; Big XII Winner)

4. LSU (11-1)

5. Virginia Tech (12-1; ACC Winner)

6. Houston (13-0)

7. Oregon (11-2; Pac-12 Winner)

8. Stanford (11-1)

9. Wisconsin (11-2; B1G Winner)

10. Boise State (11-1; CANNOT BE SELECTED TO BCS)

11. Oklahoma (9-3)

12. South Carolina (10-2)

13. Baylor (9-3)

14. Michigan (10-2)

15. Georgia (10-3)

16. Michigan State (10-3)

24. Rutgers (10-2; Big East Winner)

So the at-large teams would be (in my mind) #1 Arkansas (why would the #1 team be at-large?), #4 LSU, #6 Houston, and #8 Stanford. In my twisted mind the bowls would work out as such:

BCS Nat'l Title: #1 Arkansas vs #2 Alabama

Rose Bowl: #7 Oregon vs #9 Wisconsin

Orange Bowl: #3 Oklahoma State vs #5 Virginia Tech

Sugar Bowl: #4 LSU vs #6 Houston

Fiesta Bowl: #8 Stanford vs #24 Rutgers

I also went on a limb and predicted the BCS when LSU and Auburn win, and if Arkansas and Auburn win, but Arkansas loses to Georgia. Me and my time off :P.

It's the day after Thanksgiving, and the reality of no more Colorado vs. Nebraska is now sinking in.

Welcome to the NCAA (National Corrupt A-Holes of America) where college football rivalries go to die. Happy Holidays everyone :P

Nebraska-Colorado was not a rivalry. The denizens of the states may hate each other, but that is not the same thing.

I finished watching Texas/aTm on DVR and I do not know what was sadder:

A. aTm blowing a double digit, 2nd Half lead for the fifth time this season.

B. The Texas offense. Neither McCoy or Ash are the answer.

C. Seeing the rivalry go way after 118 meetings.

D. Seeing Earl Campbell on the sideline in a golf cart (basically immobile).

E. aTm student body crying after the winning FG as if another pile of wood fell down.

I am behind on Cougar High@Tulsa and will be late on Arky@LSU.

The MAC Championship game is set. Ohio of the MAC East will play Northern Illinois of the MAC West.

OU's last MAC championship was in 1968, Northern Illinois hasn't won the MAC since 1983 so someone's drought is going to end. Hope it's my Bobcats.

I expect an exciting game with a lot of offense. Even if you don't follow the MAC, I suggest you tune in on December 2nd because it's gonna be a good game.

10. Boise State (11-1; CANNOT BE SELECTED TO BCS)

Not true, they can get an at-large bid.

I thought non-AQ schools can only make a BCS bid if they won their conference. And I just thought Stanford and the other teams would be selected over Boise.

I'm not faulting for Boise State, I'm faulting for LSU. If that's the scenario, LSU cannot go in. So I'd say either #10 Oklahoma or #14 Michigan gets it. In addition, Oklahoma State would be locked into the Fiesta Bowl as Big XII champ. So make it this:

BCS Nat'l Title: #1 Arkansas vs #2 Alabama

Rose Bowl: #7 Oregon vs #9 Wisconsin

Orange Bowl: #8 Stanford vs #5 Virginia Tech

Sugar Bowl: #10 Oklahoma vs #6 Houston

Fiesta Bowl: #3 Oklahoma State v vs #24 Rutgers

Arkansas started great, then reverted into playing like a bunch of dumb hillbillies. No way they win if they keep gift wrapping scores for LSU. The Tigers are just too good to make that many mistakes against. The Hogs are gonna have to play flawless football to stay in this one from here on out. Otherwise, they're gonna get boat raced.

What happens if:

Arkansas beats LSU

Auburn beats Alabama

Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State

Virginia beats Va Tech

Tulsa beats Houston

and both Oregon and Stanford lose this weekend?

Arkansas if they beat Georgia in the SEC Championship will go to the National Title game, and honestly I think LSU would probably find a way into the National Title game as the second best one loss team. Lets hope none of that happens, but if it means a playoff would ensue then so be it!

So much for that great start by the Hogs. LSU pretty much has this one in the bag .....And the Tigers just put up another score. Ballgame.

I'm good if LSU wants to run up the score, here. Petrino is a piece of sh1t.
