CityOfWalrus
Not to willmorris it, but I hate that big time BCS schools schedule such scrubs in the first few weeks. With Oregon playing LSU and such there's no excuse for a school to drub on a low D I school or a D II school. I understand the money that they bring the smaller schools, but it's ridiculous to watch Ohio State smack Akron around and Virginia to beat up on Application State and STILL be considered for a national title.I don't like it either because the games are really boring and the people who go to these games usually only go because theyre the easiest tickets to get. So you get hillbillies who go to one game a year and scream their heads off for the 7th TD against a clearly inferior opponent. I just can't get excited about that and I don't understand the people who do. I was offered two tickets to the OSU-Akron game and I turned them down. One, because it's hotter than the devil's asscrack today and that stadium is where old people go to get heat-stroke. Two, I have no interest in watching OSU dominate a team that won one game last year. Three, I don't like big crowds. I'll only go to an OSU game if it's Michigan or another big game, otherwise I'll have a more enjoyable time at home or with friends. Today I spent most of the OSU game watching Utah State-Auburn.That said, one of these days one of these in-state MAC schools will beat OSU. Hell, it almost happened with my guys on my 21st birthday (OU led at the end of the 3rd quarter) When that finally does happen I'll join in with whatever school pulled it off in celebrating, but I hope it's my Bobcats.Off topic McCarthy, how do you feel about Tettleton at QB? How do you think he's gonna fair this season. You mean Mickey Tettleton's kid? He's probably going to be behind Phil Bates on the depth chart, but Bates hasn't been that impressive in the past couple seasons when he's gotten playing time so Tettleton may get his looks this year. He is only a red shirt sophomore so if he's going to be the starter it'll be next year or the year after. He was named Starter a couple months ago. They're moving Bates to WR/HB hybrid. infrared41
Thank you, #6 Florida State, for showing the rest of the Top 25 how to handle a scrub.34-blank today. I'll take it.Not for nothing but...#18 Ohio State 42 Akron 0Your 'Noles weren't the only top 25 team taking care of business today. Granted, it's one win of the seven we'll be lucky to get this season, but for this week at least, it still counts.
ninersdd
Way to go Hornets! Great win for an up and coming school.Agreed, it is so nice to see them beat a PAC-12 squad. With that said, is Oregon State supposed to be this bad? BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion
Seadragon76
Oregon State just became the first team this season to receive a 'Shipment of Fail'.I just wish I had the picture to go along with this moment. Also joining them is FCS Northern Colorado. They lost to a team that isn't in Division II yet (let me repeat myself, they lost to a team that isn't in Division II yet).
WJMorris3
The SEC could very easily be undefeated against teams from other conferences by the end of the day. I'd like to see another conference say that.

Lights Out
Not to take away from the great Oregon/LSU matchup, but there's a barn-burner going on in Atlanta right now. 100 career TD passes for Kellen Moore now. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
FiddySicks
Aaaaand Oregon just gift wrapped a TD to LSU on a botched punt return.
