rams80
Why did the Colts sign Kerry Collins, when they have a QB from a perennial powerhouse in Dan Orlovsky?Because he still has PTSD from facing the Rams of all teams a couple of weeks ago.Looks like the largest stadium in the state of Wisconsin is adding 6,600 seats in time for the 2013 season, which should be welcome news for the 81,000 people on the Packers' waiting list.Camp Randall says "Hi" On 8/1/2010 at 4:01 PM, winters in buffalo said: You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. north dakota
The Colts signed Kerry Collins because Curtis Painter is awful. He's probably the worst backup quarterback in the NFL IMO. Woah! You think I'm Cody? My name is Carl Scott Simone and we just happen to share a birthday. BIG DEAL.
Saintsfan
Vick seems to have a deeply African-American approach to the game. Well it's pretty obvious that the writer just wanted to start a race controversy so he can get people to read his article. As George Carlin would say: "It's all bull:censored: folks."Whilst not wishing to suggest that article was good journalism, it does seem much easier for a White QB to survive as an NFL quarterback. A load of the best college teams have black QBs, and yet what 2, maybe 3 if you count Tavaris Jackson, have black starting QBs. I still think race can be an issue for QBs. 2011/12 WFL Champions

NJTank
Nobody uses race as a factor in picking a QB's these days, if any GM or coach did he soon would be out of a job too much at stake in the NFL jobs are not secure so the best player will start all the time, unless there are other factors, such as age a coach may want to hold back a rookie for a few games. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

Viper
The Packers' reserves pulled out the game tonight in Indy. They had to, because the starters looked really sloppy on both offense and defense. They have less than two weeks to get things ironed out.

Viper
Surprised no one's mentioned this story from Baltimore yet...Ravens rookie receiver Tandon Doss stopped for a burger at Five Guys before playing in Thursday night?s preseason game against the Redskins. He ended up playing hero to a man who was getting attacked inside the restaurant.Doss wrote about the incident on Twitter, saying, ?Jus had to break up a fight at five guys. ninersdd
Ouch. Niners outgained by a 4:1 margin(417-105) against Houston. Apparently, the stadium was only a third full, probably after the events last week. Smith was terrible: 2-6, 17 yards. NJTank
I will say this if there is a team that can come out of nowhere and make noise in the playoffs its the Lions. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
NEW.ERA
Defense is fine and dandy, but the big cog in this entire Lions making noise is Matt Stafford showing he can be healthy for 16 games. He does that and the Offensive Line can sustain for a full season, they can maybe do some damage. FiddySicks
So far I have to say I'm liking what I've seen from my Bucs so far. All this talk about the Lions being a sleeper team is good, and I hope they are. But I have a feeling Tampa is going to give them a good run for the sleeper title.
