Believe me or not, I knew all game Ricky Rubio would hit a clutch three at the end of the game. For Kevin Love to follow up with another? Wow. You know, the Wolves would be in the playoffs if they played in the Eastern Conference with that 7-8 record. B)

How do you blow THAT halftime lead? Holy :censored:... this team isn't winning anything until they learn how to play defense and hit a goddamn free throw!

Good game, Wolves, but damn!

It was a great game. Both teams have exciting young players and have vastly improved from last year. I can't wait until they meet up again!

If by "suit up" you mean sit on the sidelines with a suit, then yes. His absence likely affected the outcome of this game, but hey, I'll take it! :P

That's the first Clips game I've watched, and I know Paul would have made a huge difference. But are they always that undisciplined picking up Ts, etc? If Williams can just stay in the game, they win. He deserved both Ts though.

As for the Wolves, despite the undermanned opponent, I was impressed with how they just kept on hanging in after a fairly weak offensive showing by all non-Darko players. Ricky played well in the fourth quarter (despite going 1-11 overall) and when Love got open, I knew it was over.

Please Wolves, offer him the max (and please Love, take it...you and Ricky could be a fun duo for years)

You'll have to forgive T-Wolves fans...this is as good as it's been since 2004.

I'm not a huge basketball follower, but all I've heard about Kevin Love makes him sound like he has the potential to be, or maybe already is, one of the best players in the league. My question is, is Memphis absolutely kicking themselves for trading him for OJ Mayo, or is Mayo holding his own as well?

Only real drawback with Kevin Love is that he's a terrible one on one defender.

Tremendous rebounder and scorer but like alot of big men today really lacking in the post skill set wise. He plays more like a small/power forward then a power forward/center.

I also said awhile that I didn't think the T'Wolves were a bad basketball team heading into this year and they do look decent this year. I think they are going to hover right around that .500 mark all year which coming out of the west is huge.

The two biggest drawbakcs with them I would say is how they match up against teams that pound the ball inside (although they have gotten better) and ball movement. Ricky Rubio cannot be the only guy on the court that passes the ball but outside of him and RIdnour nobody else is averaging more then 2 assists a game which is so odd to see coming from a Rick Adelman coached team which usually has one of if not the beset assist to turnover ratios in the NBA. I don't know if Adelman has ever coached a team that was ranked in the bottom half of the league in assist to turnover ratio but this year the T'Wolves are next to last in that category which leads me to believe that your going to see alot of turnover with that roster in the coming years if Adelman is still the coach. I would not be shocked if in three years Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio and the only guys from this year's squad still on the team.

the NBA twitter page asked this question to their followers earlier today, and I ask it to the CCSLC NBA fans,

Who's better, Blake Griffin or Kevin Love?

Blake, because he actually plays defense.

Darko had 22 points last night, just sayin'. I'm not going to hate on Blake to be a homer, i'd say the same thing if he was "compared" to Aldridge or whoever, but all Blake does is dunk. He can't shoot or pretty much do anything away from under the basket. Love's downfall is his defence, but he is getting better and does play more phases of the game than Griff.

Blake Griffin's arms are simply too short for him to ever be a solid defensive player. For a guy of his size he has no wingspan and there's nothing you can do to overcome that. He might get a little better defensively but he'll never be much above average.

You put a couple more inches on his arm though and he's up there with Dwight Howard for being the best center in the game. Just not a good enough player defensively though to justify him as a center. Offensively he has all the tools you would look for in a center but that fact that he's blocking a shot every other game is all you need to know how good of a defensive player he really is. You just can't live with those states when its the most important defensive position on the court. He's forever stuck at the power forward position. He'll never move to center even though offensively that's what would make the most sense for him.

I would say it could not be worse than "Kazaam", but body-switch movies have not been good for decades. Plus Durant has not shown a personality outside of driving a Nike-born custom van and wearing a backpack while Shaq was less shy overall.

Kevin Durant could be the male version of Gina Carano to the point which he may have to have his voice dubbed as they had to do to Gina.

That's part of the reason why I don't get it.

Dwight Howard trying to be in movies? Sure he has personality and eccentricities for miles (See: Van Gundy impression), but Durant? Not even close.
