Thanks. The center stripe would look better white. But still think those uniforms are boring as hell. I'm not a fan of what they wear now either, but at least they are unique... TSHARE18
If they fix the stripes on the uniforms they use now they wont look too bad. Nike is supposed to fix them. I think they will be changing uniforms pretty soon though. I hope they bring gold back. Teal Black and Gold looks so good together.
justinthered
I haven't been able to get myself to buy a jersey since they changed them. They look ok on some players, and awkward on others. My biggest problem with them is consistency. The stripes look like suspenders on some guys and the stripes are way thicker on the big guysIf they make those more consistent and add a gold outline around the numbers with a thin gold stripe in the suspender stripes, then it would look more like a jags uniform
Sport
They also need to dazzle up the pants. The helmets and their teal flake look really cool in both those pictures and then they wear the drab flat pants. It's unbalanced.

The Nation
if they're just tweaking it, here's my very rough mock up of how to fix it up a little:Wow!! Excellent work. It's amazing how a little gold makes the uniform 7x better. Now I'd love to see a concept with the previous numbering font.
FiddySicks
Seeing those original Jags uniforms reminds me just how much better they were than the current look. Man, those things were beautiful. The current look is just terrible. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) The current look is just terrible.Agreed. The update really seemed like a situation in which they wanted to change the helmet finish and went for a change for change's sake elsewhere. The gold really adds warmth to uniform, and it looks drab as hell without it.
Gr3g3
https://twitter.com/#!/JagsEquipment/status/158388331313504256Drew Hampton, (Jags equipment manager) is basically saying there will be a change without saying it. Check out the tweet above and a bunch of other tweets. He keeps saying "patience" or "wait and see!"

Gr3g3
True. In fact Drew probably had ZERO pull whatsoever. It's all the Khan's decisions. But Drew does have that inside info all Jags fans are trying to crack out of him.

Regardless of who has "pull" there are deadlines to be met, both with the NFL and Nike, regarding uniform changes for next season. Deadlines that, realistically, were probably expired by the time Khan bought the team. Here's what I think happened. Wayne Weaver: We're not making any significant changes to our uniforms for next season, Nike's just fixing the striping. *sells team to Shahid Khan*Shahid Khan: Huh? Uniforms? Whatever. *browses St. Louis real-estate market* Tony Khan: HEY TWITTER! WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE BLACK UNIFORMS? Unwashed Masses: YES!Tony Khan: Dad, can we get black uniforms? Shahid Khan: Huh? Uniforms? Whatever.*browses St. Louis real-estate market*Drew Hampton: Hey we're getting black alternates!Nike: Um, the deadline's past. Sorry. nuordr
Ice_Cap I like your thinking, but I think it went more like this: KHAN tells WEAVER - Before I buy this team, I want you to fire the head coach, request an official uniform change from the NFL. WEAVER tells KHAN - I will do anything you want if you just buy this crappy team. The deal is now done.

Before the team was sold we were told no changes to the uniforms beside for Nike fixing the stripes and a black alternate jersey in the same style they wear now. After the team was sold owners son asked everybody what they thought about new uniforms. Now when the equipment manager is asked on twitter about changes instead of the usual no major changes coming from Nike answer we used to get, we get its still too early to say. So something is up.
