As noted, it is already a classic logo, and if anything, I wouldn't mind seeing it go back to the Griese-era logo, dropping the navy blue altogether. It was basically the same as what the teams you mentioned did. I'm not sure what the next step in that evolution would be.Of course, had they not added navy it might have been a better all-around update. A relatively minor tweak, keeping the same feel as the current logo but streamlined a bit.The white highlights really clutter up the design. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Which would create an awesome never ending loop of a dolphin on a dolphins helmet on a dolphins helmet etc. Someone make a gif of zooming in on that. Just an idea but yes I would suggest somewhere between a bright orange close to what the marlins have and the coral the dolphins currently use.
