If they think that wear a S&S hat I a sign of supporting their country let them, if they decide to not wear a hat it doesn't mean their any less patriotic or dont support the soldiers or country. There are also some that look good even though the outlines are changed up like the Astros. I like how the red outline kinda pops against the black and camo. But those Rangers hats look funny with such a skinny T.Yeah, it reminds me of when people try to take the "T" from the jersey and put it on the caps; it never looks right. Teams with simple logos have the better design on this because they are adding all of those extra outlines. I think I'll pass on this again this year. It infuriates me that New Era has shifted their on field caps to China as the quality is just flat out awful compared to the US made caps. That was always another thing about these caps that I liked gone out the window. Before this year all of the Stars and Stripes caps were US made. Soon enough all of the on field caps will be made overseas (if the trend continues) and I'll be done buying New Era on field caps. No boycott of Chinese goods or anything like that, but on the Chinese made caps the quality just isn't there. The only exception I could see is if a team wears a different hat at home vs on the road and their schedule has them split for these 3 holidays then I guess an exception is ok, but they could really just stick to one hat. I know this is about money, but enough is enough. And for patriotic holidays, at least make the hats in the USA. The Giants, for example, only need the all black version based on their schedule, but they have released both. I didn't see it posted so here it is. And I live that the base color is the teams color so the camo is just a subtle nod rather than loud and clashing mess. They should've done it this way the whole time. If they insist on running this promo every year (doesn't bother me, I own a few), than this is the way to do it. Plus, camo f*****g rocks.The idea of a blue or red or white hat was nice, but it was an visual disaster. They always needed to be team-color with the logos altered to the S&S or camo. If you're gonna do this, you gotta do it this way so everyone looks good. At least they finally went the right way. Go Astros!Go Texans!Go Rockets!Go Javelinas!
