Italy (96), Germany (04), France (08) and Netherlands (12) all lost the previous World Cup final, and never made it out of the Group Stage at the following European Championship. It was not.Iniesta starts the run behind the Croatian defender, so he can legally touch the ball when he is given it, and when he slides it over to Navas, Navas is behind Iniesta when he plays the ball at first. A lot to handle. Though Mario Mandžukić and Croatians probably have a good case that he should have been given a penalty in the first half. Only one Penalty all tournament so far, and it was missed.
