He commented that the helmet wasnt as "Oregon-esque" as he expected. So that leaves a few options.1.) The helmet ISNT high gloss gold and matte black and Brent was right saying in wasn't "Oregony".2.) The helmet IS high gloss gold and matte black and Brent has no idea was the Oregon helmets are like.I asked him what he thought about the helmets today on twitter. A gold lid would be one thing, but a mix with gradients is another. I will say I think it would be incredibly dumb for Jax to move away from the traditional black. Anything else will be bizarre for them and you can't deny the primarily gold logo contrasts nicely against the black. As it stands, the logo washes out amidst the gold helmet mockup. The logo has alot going on as it is by itself. The black shell makes the colors stand out better.The logo alone has 4 colors in it The helmet would be too busy if it were gold and black. The uniforms are said to be mostly black with gold and teal accents. The helmet being 2/3 gold would throw off the whole balance of the rest of the uniforms. I'm not sure how I feel about it the idea if it's truly gold and black it would really depend on how it's done. I wouldn't mind something unique.
