This was called a safety for intentional grounding in the endzone.

The officials ought to be embarrassed this morning.

This came after they reviewed a fumble where the OU player was clearly down and still gave the ball to Buffalo. The safety resulted in 9 points off one of the worst calls I've ever seen.

That play wasn't even reviewed? Hopefully something happens with discipline to the officials. I remember I think it was in 2009 Arkansas-Florida, and the officials made 2 BS calls on the Razorbacks, and those refs were in trouble for that. That was Jesus' last year, so of course Florida would get the breaks. :P

By rule a spot foul is not reviewable, even when a safety is caused by penalty. The booth official was the only one with the power to correct the error and did not.

The referee commented on the play following the game.

This is what pisses me off about Stanford. They're a championship caliber team, yet they drop awful games to teams like Utah.

I fully expect Florida State to stumble at some point (not because I think FLAST is weak or anything, but that's how college football works) and for the National championship game to be the absolute worst case scenario, Alabama vs Ohio State.

But who is Florida State going to stumble against?

I mean, dear Lord would them losing on Saturday at high noon to Wake Forest be one of the most awesome developments of the season, but, in general, I just don't see a team left on their slate that can beat them. And, no, Florida doesn't have a chance given how much of the starting defense is already out for the season. Fameis Jameis will pick that unit apart, and Florida can barely score any points, either.

I have no idea, but College football is notorious for having the worst possible national championship match ups in all of sports. It would be a really fitting end to the BCS era to see Bama just curb stomp an obviously overmatched Ohio State team.

FSU's remaining schedule, ACCCG included, is so weak that they will almost certainly win out. FSU vs. OSU might be the most likely scenario at this point.

I'm so disappointed by Oregon. Despite that exhilarating couple minutes of a comeback, they were grown-manned. (I know there were the untimely turnovers that could've changed the game) I expected a different gameplan for tonight after Stanford had done this to them enough times to learn from. Also, take the points on that first drive....

But I digress. I do think it would only be fitting in the last BCS year that the top 10 becomes a clusterf of 1 loss teams. So I hope mayhem ensues, with upsets happening everywhere... to send the BCS out the right way.

I think it's fair to say that Baylor might be a legitimate threat now. They took Oklahoma down with little issue, and it's now the meat and potatoes section of their schedule.

As for Oregon... well, now we all know what it takes to beat the Ducks (or any high powered spread option offense): Keep the ball and run until you can't run no more.
