"@ALionEye Heard more whispers about the Nike rebrand. The rumors of an alternate white helmet are apparently true. It's real, and it's spectacular."

I think a white helmet with a stripe of that pattern on the basketball uniforms a few years ago would be pretty sweet.

They've been showing recruits that for a year or so now. Unfortunately, I doubt that it's what we'll be seeing.

That's a shame because those are some good looking helmets. I love that they used a grey face mask as well. It really makes them look sharp.
I'm not crazy about the grey facemask. If they were to use that helmet the should use an orange, blue or white facemask to match the jersey being worn.

I hope your right as that grey facemask ruins an otherwise beautiful helmet!

I guess in in the minority on the grey face mask lol. I just think it would look sharp with a white jersey and pants.

I do agree however that a matching face mask would look great with the blue or orange jersey.

I just think if they're going to wear white jerseys and pants they might as well go full storm trooper with a white facemask too.

I'm with you on the gray mask. If the uniform is simple and clean without too much modern clutter, the gray mask would look great.

Louisville has a new all black alternate for this season.

If those are new, why do they have American patches on them and not ACC?

They made them last year and never introduced them as Charlie Strong wanted to originally wait until next year. But since Petrino is there, I see him bringing on a new modern feel as he has no taste!

Honestly, I don't get the hate these helmets get, they look good IMO and they are safer then before.

I get the safety aspect of them but they just dont look good to me, and i like the original revo, and revo speed helmets. This helmet just is way too awkward looking, it looks like a cone head, with very random vent holes, and that flap or what ever you want to call it in the front

Also, they probably cant technically place the ACC logo on gear until the move happens in June or July. Im quite surprised they just didnt go sans American logo.
