No. The Dolphins don't need GFGS, and animal mascots don't need to be the color of the real animal. Plus the gray gets lost on the white.

No they do! Jaguars aren’t teal!

Dan Marino and John Elway only met twice in their regular season careers - 1984 & 1998. What perfect uniform juxtaposition that would have made... Elway in a young man's clothes was jarring enough without Marino to match.

You should see Elway embracing the latest dance trends!

Love the 9ers in white pants... even the late-90's-fied set worked for me, but only white-on-white... the cleanliness of the white makes the remaining gold pop & feel more significant

Am I the only guy who thinks that this helmet should have been given the time of day for an ultra-modern redesign?

For a special edition alternate only. Not the primary.

I'd be perfectly fine with taking the new Dolphin, apply it to this helmet and readjust the colors a bit while keeping this design. It would be a fun look to see on the field. Anyone want to whip this idea up in a concept?

49ers WR Marquise Goodwin posted this a couple days ago on Twitter. I would assume this is confirmation of white pants returning to San Francisco?

I really wish the pants stripes were red/gold/red. While that’s inconsistent with the sleeve stripes, it at least gets some gold on the design outside of the helmet.

That's beautiful.  Instantly one of the best sets in the league when worn as color rush with white socks/gloves/cleats. Works perfectly with the new sleeve stripe layout, too.

Problem is, the league will make them wear red/white socks, which will kind of ruin it.  It'll be okay but look college-ish.  While nice, they really didn't need it.  It's like the Packers wearing white pants...it looks great here and there, but it's not them.

So, as a Color Rush - I approve.  As a standard away set?  I'm sticking with the Gold pants.

That looks great. I don’t think the white pants will look as good with the red cherry though. But I’m also not usually a fan of helmet, jersey and pants being different colors, besides a few exceptions.

If the white pants mean any sort of progress to get rid of the black alt then I’m all for it! Swap this in for colour rush and it’s a major upgrade.

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say the white pants are for the Color Rush after seeing that tweet. Can't see them not wearing gold pants anymore, but then again they have a Black uniform so what do I know?

For an alternate pant, it can work. But let's say this ends up being real, the lack of gold indicates it's likely CR. Plus the all white socks too.

Yeah it's a photoshop so we can only take this with the grainiest of salts
