I believe that the bruins wear gold socks with their home blacks based off tradition.I have two questions for the board:1.) What are your opinions on "non-matching" sock to jersey colors for the Bruins?2.) Do you think any other teams could/should pull off a similar style tweak?I personally like it for the bruins, considering it is what i have grown up on. The colors look great in person and the burgundy is the exact shade as the normal jersey.I even saw a guy wearing the new alt standing next to the old mountain stripe home jersey, and I actually preferred the look of the new third jersey. Half theses are just because their unique. I mean If I took a white jersey threw up on it, cleaned my toilet, the gutters, and then soaked it to make it tye-dye, and slapped a logo and some numbers on it, it would be unique, but still trash...
