For a series aimed at early teens, it sure had some deep storytelling and surprisingly dark themes at times.And that video certainly is......something, lol. Sharks throwback was awesome though.All this hate for the Islanders, but I guess no one remembers the last 5 years of horribly awful and overly complicated 3rd jerseys.Their Stadium Series jersey was an awesome alternate jersey. It was the one jersey from that year where the chrome treatment worked.I wouldn't say it worked, but the chrome treatment was minimal compared to the other teams so it was one of the least awful of the Stadium jerseys. The main reason is because of what you said about the North Stars. I was only 10 in 1991 so I never knew that Minnesota wore the Stars look prior to moving to Dallas. '92-'93 was solid too with Tampa and Ottawa's original sets but by that time Pittsburgh went "robo-Penguin," the Devils flipped green for black, and Hartford traded in the green for the navy look. '93-'94 had the original Florida and Anaheim sets which were both super. Then in '94-'95 things went into a tailspin with Calgary adding black and looking like an SEL team, the Blues adding lots of red, the following year you had the Islanders debacle, and the Caps going blue/black. So good looking in action and high definition. Seems one shade too dark compared to the originalsThis is be design, they are called "Heritage" jerseys and not throwbacks because they use thecurrent darker shade of teal.
