BBTV
They're all decent minor league logos, but not for NHL. The one they went with is the best of the bunch, but it's not a strong logo. TOo much blending of colors, not enough contrast, and nothing iconic at all. Plus, the corniness of having a hockey stick forced in to it. 3 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." They're just discarded Leafs sweaters with a new logo Also interesting to note is that according to the article, the blue jersey is the home jersey and the white the road. The NHL switched to white at home and color on the road prior to the 1970-71 season, the year the Sabres joined the League.

It was a great logo in the late 80s. Even in the 90s it was pretty cool. In fact, it'd probably be an upgrade on the tragically dull logo they use today. Gothamite
No, it was a silly logo even back then. We used to joke about how bad it was. But marketing guys talked up their own work to the client? Cosmic
They were pretty popular at my school in the 90s. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved a ton of merch, like the Mighty Ducks did. I could see "NBA merchandising types" liking that.

OnWis97
I feel like something's missing from all of those "THE Orlando Magic" logos. Like maybe the frequency. THE ORLANDO MAGIC 93.7.
