Meanwhile, up the 5 freeway, Kings have a 6 game winning streak going.

Which of course makes this misery the Ducks are in a blast to experience on social media.

In other news, the Jackets won their second in a row. McCarthy, looks like that parade in June is becoming closer and closer to a reality!

For better and worse they may be the streakiest team in the NHL, which is great when they're winning 12.5 out of their last 13, but so goddamn annoying when they begin a season 0-8.

They'll spend this entire season trying to dig out of this hole and miss the playoffs by 4 points. Why doesn't this ever happen to the Red Wings?
