I think I’ve mellowed a bit from the high of the Sharks win  - thought that could also be the celebratory Quesarito from Taco Bell.  

 

I was also quite nervous most of the day.

 

 What in the world did the Sharks have for breakfast?  That was quite the game, though,  I was still nervous until the final horn sounded even with the Sharks up 5-0.  Nashville is one helluva hockey team and the put up a huge fight in games 1-6.  I didn’t expect another rout in a Game 7, but I’m glad it’s the Sharks prevailing.  Step 2 complete.  On to St. Louis.  Hoping for a great series and Sharks series win.

Heck, the only team I have a problem with winning the Cup is Pittsburgh, and that's only a fear that they'll clinch in their road uniforms (Edge click-n-fill is far worse than egregious O6-dress up, because at least O6-dress up implies a semi-timeless quality to the design).

First off, I don't know if there's such a thing as a perfect hockey game or a 60 minute effort, but the Sharks came damned close. It would have been marvelous to watch, if it wasn't happening to my team.

 

That being said, I'm pulling for the Blues, last appearance in 70 and no cup? Plus, that city could use it, after just losing the Rams.

Do we count the Lightning winning it in 2004 as the last instance of a team wearing blue winning the Cup or does it need to be their primary color? If not, holy :censored:, it's been 22 years since a team wearing blue won a Cup. Damn.
