Jersey, shirsey same thing different price point. Burning it into a fireball to the national anthem sends the same message.

And that message is, "One of these years, I'm finally going to succeed in blowing off my hand on the 4th of July."

Don't be surprised at all if Jacksonville wins the AFC-S this year. Cycle back on this tweet when it gets proven wrong, of course, but it sure wouldn't shock me in the least if they win their division this year.

Youre right, they have a solid team there.  AFC South is always wide open until the dust settles.

So Sanchez is gonna maybe get cut. He couldn't even beat out Trevor Siemian for the starting job in Denver. Very interesting there with such an unproven and not that highly touted of a QB taking over for the champs.

Call me crazy, but I love that roof in Minnesotas new stadium.  It was hard to believe on TV that the game was indoors.

Here's hoping that Tampa Bay baseball team comes up a similar idea.

I honestly love how that stadium looks. It's beautiful. The natural light is fantastic.

I can only imagine how much this guy is gonna get on the field. I understand a vet doing this, but a rookie who hasn't proven anything is putting himself in a bad pr space before his career even started.

Agreed about new Vikings stadium.  The shadows were barely noticeable and didn't effect TV viewing.

I know shadows in some stadiums really impact the quality of the TV broadcast.

A little confused by Minnesota's new dome. Does the solid part of the roof have the ability to slide over the glass parts?

It's not retractable.  Having that solid part is probably due to cost and/or strength.

I think they originally planned to have an retractable roof except it cost too much.

So basically it's a glass dome? Is it possible to grass grow in such a structure?

It's not glass. It's ETFE.  A stadium in NZ has it over the entire roof and has a grass field

And greenhouses have been used to grow sod for decades.

As impressive as the Vikings' stadium appears, it still wasn't necessary. It's a terrible waste of public money from people who should know better.

The Metrodome was old and dated.  Something had to be done.

The only thing that may have made sense would've been to have a shared UM/Vikings stadium.

Right, exactly, expand TCF Bank Stadium to accommodate both teams full-time. Football stadiums sit empty most of the year; you don't need two. With the way people would rather watch football on TV, you barely need one.

I think the Chargers have come off looking worse because they tried to wedge in verbiage that is generally not used on rookie contracts to try and force Bosa's hand. When the players union tells you it's a bad deal, don't sign it, you generally follow their lead on it. His mom is making life miserable by saying they should have pulled an "Eli" though.

Minnesota's stadium doesn't have much space for expansion and would require another stadium for both teams to play in while expansion went on. If they still had the Metrodome it's not issue but remember, TCF Stadium didn't even have warmers under the field until after the Vikings vs Bears game after the Metrodome roof collapse a few years ago proved that it was needed.
