I remember the good ol days when I could look at this thread and see lots of pics from the weekend...

Still can!

Look at this beauty.  Factor in the lights and soggy weather and this gets me going

Best of Week 9:

Image result for penn state iowa

Honorable mention to Texas-Oklahoma State.

Worst goes to the dreaded spring game match up, plus not a big fan of maroon in general:

Here’s the retail version of the Ducks’ Jumpman jerseys:

And a few of the other products in the collection:

Overall, these are fine as a one-off. Not great, not horrible. I’m really glad the elephant print inside the numbers is so subtle, and it’s nice to see some green around the numbers as well. The number font is interesting too, it’s like a stylized version of the Bulls’ classic block font. The one thing on these jerseys that’s really stupid is the chest logo. Not a fan of that element at all, and I wish they would’ve left the Jumpman logo alone, and just put the ‘O’ on the hip of the pants instead of forcing it onto the jersey. I’m also not a fan of the ‘FLIGHT’ NOB, though I’m hoping that’s exclusive to the retail jerseys.

Keep the paisley off of these beauties. The paisley has its place, but not here (and I would also argue the helmet shell). I initially thought it would be great to see these uniforms permanently, but I'd rather them bust them out once or twice a year for special occasions and big games where they need a little extra mojo. In any case, I'm all for bringing back the old school, non-italicized brand full time.

Abso-FREAKIN-lutely! I was cranked when they brought out the 80-83 helmets a while back, those were the ones I first saw when I moved there in 83. Saturday night those brought a swagger back to them, and Gundy calling the plays helped. And Cornelius had the normal sleeve length which was nice for once.

Here’s the official release of the Ducks’ Jumpman uniforms:

I’m pretty satisfied with these for the most part. I’m still really not a fan of the chest and hip logos, but they don’t look as bad on the real thing as I was thinking they would. I’m really glad there’s at least some green to break up all the black and white.

I'm underwhelmed by the Jordan jerseys, but the cleats/gloves are beautiful and the helmet is good as usual. I'm glad there's some green going on there. The most important thing is that high school recruits will love them because of the 'cool' factor that Jordan brings.

Like the Oregon uniforms.  I'm really glad that the elephant print is subtle and they included green as the accent color.  Still wish there'd be some more shoulder sleeve detailing but it looks like I won't be getting any of that on an Oregon uniform for awhile.

ASU Salute to Service unis...no more tan. PT*42 on the helmet and pants, ARIZONA STATE back on chest, state flag switched out for camo.

First off, love the ASU unis.  Second, I'm trying to get clarification: Is Oregon officially a Jumpman school now, or is this a one-off for the weekend?  I remember reading somewhere that the Jumpman brand wanted a school in each P5 conference, and with the SEC (Florida), ACC (North Carolina), Big 12 (Oklahoma), and Big Ten (Michigan) covered, I wonder if Oregon will be the PAC-12 team.

There’s been no indication that Oregon will be switching to Jumpman full time, so I’m pretty sure this is either a one-time collaboration or a recurring collaboration where there’s a special Jumpman alternate every season (I could even see this extending to the basketball team, too). I believe that’s why there’s the ‘O’ X Jumpman logo, to denote that it’s a special collaboration and not a full time switch. Plus, I wouldn’t think Phil Knight and Nike would want their flagship school repping the Jumpman logo full time rather than the swoosh.
