Be it either primary or change...from what I've seen since they've been in MLS, and I think their last year in NASL it's been mostly charcoal gray/black and white. Or do they prefer to keep their light blue just to trim color? They had a blue uniform in the NASL, even their last year there. They did introduce a white third kit with a light blue sash, but it was only worn a few times (3 times if my memory is correct). I'm still not used to them wearing white in MLS, and it's why it really annoyed me at the home opener of a brand new soccer specific stadium that they went with a look their white kits. It didn't look like the Loons out there. They only way I can confirm it was the Loons is due to the amount of goals they let in...sigh...

Not sure if that is true or not. Our 2020 primary kits better be something special if it doesn't include the wing. These white secondaries are terrible, because the pattern they put on them isn't visible. Maybe a dumb question here, but could MNUFC trademark/copyright the wing design itself? If they made a claim that the design "belongs" to them could they potentially stop adidas from poaching it for other teams? I mean I know the wing appears on the back of a jacket that the team wears but other than that, would it be a possibility?
upperV03 7,563 Posted April 20, 2019 First three of this weekend’s Parley matchups: Few notes: - Players are wearing white undershirts with the light blue kits and black with the dark blue kits rather than undershirts that match the color of the kits. Same can be said for the compression shorts. - The Galaxy apparently took it upon themselves to add the 5 stars to their Parley shirts. None of the other clubs have their championship stars on their Parley shirts (at least from what we’ve seen so far in these games and from the promotional materials). - Even though the shade of blue isn’t right, Minnesota’s Parley kit is arguably better than both their current secondary and their secondary from the last two seasons.
DG_ThenNowForever 15,898 Posted April 20, 2019 That blue is striking. I regret not buying one.
Section30 1,631 Posted April 20, 2019 Minnesota needs a kit in almost the same shade of blue for a secondary, watching the game yesterday it just looked right with the Loons in light blue.

Preach it!!! I hope they're able to wear these kits one more time. Maybe next Wednesday so I can see them in person?

FiddySicks 11,188 Posted April 20, 2019 I turned on the Atlanta Dallas match and wondered why the hell NYCFC was playing. Not a fan of these unis at all.

If Miami football can have these made in team colors, adidas should treat these as true third kits next year, even if they only get worn once. A Crew jersey that looks like their original jetsey would be great. And if they're auctioned off . . . you'll see numbers go up if DC United is wearing a copy of their 1996 home kits.
Digby 6,539 Posted April 21, 2019 Yeah, sorry, I hate these. Great if it fits your team color, but these look ridiculous on the Houstons and RSLs and New Englands of the world. And, I have to say it every time, there's nothing environmental or sustainable about making special one time use kits! So stupid as to be offensive.
