TrueYankee26
Last time the Rays made the WS they split the first two, and then lost 3 straight to give the Phillies their first title since the 80s. They are trying to avoid that this year. trueyankee26.wordpress.com

They won't have to deal with that this time. 37 minutes ago, AustinFromBoston said: They actually only won Game 2 against Philly. yes that's what "split the first two" means. Also, in 2008, the Rays had home field for the first two games, in which they split. Here, they split "on the road" and now get "home field" for the next three. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
AustinFromBoston
My bad. For some reason I Thought he meant they spilt the series at 2, and then lost the next 3. Regardless, hope they can avoid what happened in 2008. Would be a nice upset to have the small market Rays win against “big time” LA.

That’s how good that team was. "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." habsfan1
With 2 outs and a 1 point lead, 2 routine plays end with 2 Dodgers players fumbling the catches twice. Rays win by a point. That throw to home plate should have been caught. Brutal.

AustinFromBoston
Hot Damn! We have ourselves a series. That was a fantastic game, with an absolute bonkers ending. Would love to see The Rays pull this off. Small market team upsets the Big LA team, and adds to their choking label.
LMU
Tomorrow's a shaky Glasnow with TB's bullpen completely drained. To call this series over is ludicrous.

AustinFromBoston
Apparently today was the 34th Anniversary of the infamous "Bill Buckner" play. Glad to see the Dodgers decided to pay homage to the Mets legend.
