A lot of Eastern and Midwest leagues have 'educational' games where they start at 10am or so mid-week. Akron had two on back-to-back days. Then, in 2017, the Cyclones became the Brooklyn Slices, in honor of the cheese-covered piece of heaven that is as synonymous with the borough as the Brooklyn Bridge. This year, the team will pay tribute to another one of the culinary treats that the borough is known for when the team becomes the Brooklyn Bagels on Sunday, July 22nd when they take on the Lowell Spinners. The 1:00 PM game will have a special Brunch & Baseball package where fans will be able to enjoy a Sunday Brunch from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM featuring breakfast staples like bacon & eggs and – of course- bagels.
