Bears: For throwbacks brown, white or blue faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be orange or white from team’s current color pallet. I am hoping for a throwback look with faux leather. Bengals: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in white or black. Likely going to get a white out look. Bills: For throwbacks silver or red. Non-throwback related not already listed would be blue from team’s current color pallet. My guess is we get the red as it could be used for Kelly era throwback or be paired with red color rush. Broncos: For throwbacks brown, orange, or “orange crush era” blue. Other option not listed already would just be white from team’s current color pallet. I am guessing we get the “orange crush era” throwbacks. Browns: For throwbacks, white or orange faux leather or previous shade of orange non faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be white or brown from team’s current color pallet. I am hoping for white faux leather to pair with the throwback. Buccaneers: For throwbacks, white. Non-throwback related not already listed would be orange, red, or black from team’s current color pallet. No brainer we are getting the Bucco Bruce throwbacks. Cardinals: For throwbacks light and dark brown, white or red faux leather. Also red non faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be red, black or yellow from team’s current color pallet. An old school throwback would be awesome but I bet we just get a black helmet to pair with alt and/or color rush. Chargers: For throwbacks royal blue, navy blue. Other option would just be powder blue or yellow from team’s current color pallet. Not sure what they do? Royal or Navy for throwbacks or pair with the color rush would be great but whichever they don’t use to leave some disappointed. They may opt to go with never before used helmet then… maybe Powder Blue, who knows? Chiefs: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in yellow, white or black. I bet we get black used and a black alt introduced. Colts: For throwbacks blue. Other option would just be black from team’s current color pallet. We will likely get the blue throwback helmet. Cowboys: For throwbacks white. Other option would just be both shades of blue from team’s current color pallet. Still list the white helmet in guide so could use as early as 2022 and likely what we get. Dolphins: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in aqua, orange or blue. Probably aqua if they do any? Eagles: For throwbacks, white, yellow, blue black or green faux leather or previous Kelly green or white. Non-throwback related not already listed would be silver, black, or charcoal from team’s current color pallet. Like Bucco Bruce we will see Kelly Green. Falcons: For throwbacks, red. Non-throwback related not already listed would be silver, or white from team’s current color pallet. No brainer this is the red. 49ers: For throwbacks, white, silver or gold faux leather or red, silver or white non faux. Non-throwback related not already listed would be black from team’s current color pallet. I think a classic faux leather would be cool but will likely just be the red. Giants: For throwbacks light and dark brown, blue, white or red faux leather. Also red non faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be red, white or silver from team’s current color pallet. Any faux leather option is a winner. Jaguars: For throwbacks either gradient or the color change one. Other option would just be teal, white or gold from team’s current color pallet. Teal has to be the way they go here. Jets: For throwbacks blue or white. Other option would just be black from team’s current color pallet. Let’s hope for white but they will probably go with black. Lions: For throwbacks, black, silver, light brown or red faux leather or, blue or gold non faux. Non-throwback related not already listed would be white or current blue from team’s current color pallet. Silver Faux leather to pair with throwback is the way to go. Packers: For throwbacks, brown, blue, green or yellow faux leather or, gold or white. Non-throwback related not already listed would be green from team’s current color pallet. Any faux leather option would be cool. Panthers: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in black, white or blue. Let’s hope for blue but they will likely go black. Patriots: For throwbacks white. Other option would just be red or blue from team’s current color pallet. Still list the white helmet in guide so could use as early as 2022 and likely what we get. Raiders: For throwbacks black. Other option would just be white from team’s current color pallet. We will likely get black. Rams: For throwbacks red, blue or yellow faux leather. Also red non faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be yellow, white or bone from team’s current color pallet. I hope we get a yellow faux leather. Ravens: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in purple, white or gold. We likely will get purple. Saints: For throwbacks black. Other option would just be white from team’s current color pallet. This could go either way… either white or black is just as likely. Seahawks: For throwbacks silver or previous shade of blue. Other option would just be white or lime green from team’s current color pallet. We are going to get the silver for the throwback but would not be totally shocked if they dropped a lime green on us. Seattle is like the Oregon of the NFL and will do what Nike wants. Steelers: For throwbacks white or yellow faux leather. Also yellow non faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be white from team’s current color pallet. Any faux leather would be cool but will likely just be non faux leather yellow. Texans: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in white or red. I am guessing they go red. Titans: For throwbacks white, silver or previous light blue. Other option would just be red from team’s current color pallet. Will be an oiler throwback likely just do they go original light blue, late 60’s early 70’s silver or classic white? I think it will be light blue or white. Vikings: Just have the option of other colors from their pallet in white yellow or black. Will probably be black. Washington: For throwbacks light brown, dark brown, and burgundy faux leather. Also gold and yellow non faux leather. Non-throwback related not already listed would be white from team’s current color pallet. We will get the brown faux leather again probably, but with them distancing themselves from all imagery from the past they might wait and just go with an alt color on an all new alt uniform once they pick and official permanent new name. Any teams going the faux leather route I hope take the Texas A&M approach of emulating the layers and stitching and not just texture a shell to look like it is solid leather like Washington did. KC is one of the most oldschool-minded teams in the league when it comes to uniforms so I seriously doubt they would do something so radically ugly. Actually, the speculation on multiple Viking fan sites is pretty heavy that the Vikings (should they choose to partake) would go with a shiny, darker purple alt helmet to pair up with the 70's throwbacks, which are still massively popular among Viking fans. They had two different purple helmets back when they last wore that throwback, and basically mothballed it when the awesome and already missed one helmet rule came in, apparently because they felt their current matte helmet wouldn't work with it. However, you may be correct and we could get a black helmet. Obviously throwbacks should have appropriate helmets. But considering the rule for 2nd helmets is for throwbacks or alternates only, I don't think things will get completely crazy. Sure there may be 1-2 teams that will be dumb about it. But I'd be willing to bet most of the teams that do add a 2nd helmet will take the opportunity to do throwbacks. I think there will be some teams that don't go with a 2nd helmet. Teams like the Dolphins that have no history of a different helmet color but have throwbacks that fans love. And the Vikings. Would they really introduce another alt just so that they could have a black helmet? Or would they rather go with a throwback that fans love and want to see return? Same with the Chiefs. Why would they introduce a new alt uniform just for a yellow, white or black helmet that the vast majority doesn't want? They don't even have an alternate uniform While I agree and don't want them to do this the league office can be pretty funny about stuff like this. Every team had to have a color rush... granted some like KC and Chicago just used the same color current jersey, pant and sock. If they want all teams to eventually have an alt helmet they may have no choice. They are moving away from the navy throwbacks this year and making a throwback in green (it should release sometimes in the next couple of weeks), so for now at least they should'nt need a new helmet, because all the throwbacks with green and yellow in them have used a yellow or gold helmet Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bengals All whites Bills red for Kelly era throwback Broncos Royal blue for Orange crush era throwback Browns Faux white leather throwback Buccaneers Bucco Bruce throwbacks Colts blue helmet throwback Cowboys white helmet throwback Eagles kelly green throwback Falcons red helmet throwback Jets white for Namath era throwback Patriots Pat Patriot throwback Seahawks Silver helmet throwback Steelers yellow helmet throwback Titans white helmet Oilers throwback (picking white over light blue or silver allow them to throwback to previous Titan set too if they desire to do so) Vikings might go with a throwback as well with a standard non-satin finish. Chargers will likely have one but I am unsure if they will go 90's era navy or the Fouts era blue. Washington I think if they do anything it will be an alt color and not a throwback. I really think they are going to make a big push to promote the new identity and not want to draw things back to the past. All the older teams like Packers, Bears, Lions, Giants, Cardinals all could go with some faux leather but there are so many options for them to pick from I couldn't decide which one to do. Similar with the Rams and 49ers. Not sure what option the Niners might pick (silver, white, or red are all options) or the Rams (faux leather is an option as is yellow, red, pale gold) The Ravens, Texans, Saints, Jaguars, Dolphins, Panthers, Raiders and Chiefs will likely not have any unless the league mandates something.
