Look, all I care about today is that Florida State won. It wasn't pretty, and it took going into OT, but still... they beat Clemson. I'll take it.

Today just felt like a letdown. ND winning would have been more interesting than another boring Buckeye rerun.

Ohio State seems to win games like this on the road, but not at home. Last year's win was the first Top 10, non B1G game in a long time.

I was willing to believe that DJU just wasn’t it and Clemson would regain their form with Klubnik but man, they’ve fallen off hard.  Really feels like a coaching problem there and that maybe Dabo just caught lightning in a bottle with two elite QBs.  He was definitely lucky Venables stuck around as long as he did.

There is still a lot of talent on that roster but some of decisions they made today were baffling.

I do 😉

But besides that, he's trying something different (for someone that doesn't look like Chip Kelly) and instead of trying to teach a team to be humble and measured, to have confidence in themselves, expect to win, know they're talented, and not hide it.  It's different, and some people are afraid of things that are different.

He said this after the game - "our confidence offends their insecurity."  He's not wrong.

Same man, I didn’t want to be the one to say it and open that can of worms.

Love that quote, by the way. That’s great.

Someone explain to me how rankings work.  Ohio State was 6, Notre Dame was 9.  Shouldn't the expected outcome be a tight OSU win?  I get that it's 100% subjective and the "eyeball test" is what matters, and what the teams ranked above and below you do matters too, but should Notre Dame really lose two spots when if anything, they showed that they're right there with the (now) #5 team?

It seems like maybe the relative rankings were spot on, the expected outcome happened, yet the gap in rankings widens.
