AgentColon2
Maybe the Chiefs decide to wear road whites to keep the underdog mentality going. Doubtful though being they already beat the Niners in this combo.

kaleb_girod
I so badly wanted the Lions and Ravens to win, but I’m also pleased that we’ll now be getting a classic, traditional uniform matchup. I hate that it’s a recent SB repeat, but if it means no mono-blue/white mess or mono-black leotard pants again, then it’s a win imo.
Zachary15
Curious what the Chiefs will do with their patches. We have the Norma Hunt patch this year on the right with the Captain patches. And the Lamar patch on the left. The only place it would work is above the Lamar Hunt patch but even then, that patch is big so I don't know if it'll fit that well. Maybe get rid of the Captain patches and put it there? Quote CHIEFS - BLUE JACKETS

As for Nike, they need to get the silver pants on them, the Cowboys, and the Patriots right. They did the same stuff to them like they did with the Saints!

They fined Jalen Ramsey just a couple years ago for wearing different socks from the rest of the team. How is it they let this happen over and over? First, some players actually do have the correct socks on, but they pull up white leggings over the socks. If you look close enough at Deebo Samuel from last night, you'll see red over the white leggings. Second, there could be a "they can't stop all of us" mentality that led to this. Let's say the NFL did fine teams and/or players over this. Just imagine the negative feedback and PR that would follow. It won't matter that the fine money is going to charity. Finally, the NFL may allow white socks as an alternate or teams are starting to use solid white as the official sock. I don't know why alternate sock colors would be allowed, and I haven't heard of any official rule, but it may be implied with how much it's happening. Well thank god that's over with...can the Lions please schedule a time for the bonfire so they can torch those white pants?!? They blew a 17-point lead wearing them so by the standards of Uniform Superstition they must torch them, right? I wish the league would regulate pants somewhat too. They've long been on a slippery slope by allowing teams to get away with this stuff, as I do believe Theory #2 above holds a lot of water. The NFL used to fine players for stuff like this, but now I think we'll just see more of it:

fouhy12
I just kind of assume the NFL has been fining these guys and they wear the socks the way they want anyway. The league doesn't usually make these kinds of fines public, right? Tyreek Hill said they were fining him all the time. They've only ever experienced success in the khaki pants look (pre-1996 and since 2009).
