GriffinM6
If the expectation is that this stuff is fixed by opening day, I wonder if they're just going to use the old template for on-field uniforms and sell the crappy one to fans for 2024 only. They have to still have plenty of that in the factory inventory I'd imagine.

SilverBullet1929
Did you all see the article by Mark Feinsand on MLB.com like two days ago with Nike explaining the long process of creating the new uniforms and how much work went into them and how much time and research it took and how much they consulted with players and highlighting all the positives of the new designs, etc etc? It was informative but the timing absolutely made it feel like a defensive tactic with A LOT of jabs with things like saying that the players and the union were involved in the process and nobody complained until now and a lot of stuff like that. It was very much like a retaliation, like when a scandal breaks out and someone or an organization has to release a statement pleading their case.
(probably)notabandwagonfan
Braves belt loops are keeping the piping after all. I have to wonder if the team had to get Nike to add it because the road pants still don't have it. 11

M59
Catching up on this week's Uni Watch entries...and was struck by the photo of the front of the A's green jersey. Whatever it is Nike is using for the jersey script, sure looks...different...than what I'm used to. https://uni-watch.com/2024/02/21/most-mlb-teams-wont-have-perforated-numbers-after-all/?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Maybe this all just a front so that people cant read the players names and have to identify them by their numbers so they buy more programs/yearbooks. 1 1 1 Quote Signature intentionally left blank
