FiddySicks
Do we have any other real real proof that this is the real deal other than a photoshoped picture of a kids jersey? BBTV
Do we have any other real real proof that this is the real deal other than a photoshoped picture of a kids jersey? It was mentioned on Uniwatch a while back that the Rangers were going to be unveiling new stuff with Texas on the home jersey. There's no proof that this photoshop is 100% accurate, but it is at least in line with what we've been hearing. McCall
With the new Texas home jersey, my gripes in order are:1. Piping on sleeve. The single blue looked much better than the red/blue. Looks like something you'd fine on a cheap fashion jersey at Walmart.2. Black drop shadow. Need I repeat what's already been stated numerous times?3. "Texas" on the home. Not a BIG deal to me, but "Rangers" looked much nicer on there and it's not like it's too long of a name to fit so they went with the shorter "Texas". Doesn't make much sense. Why just play on Texas, when the whole name itself, Texas Rangers, actually is the name of a group of law enforcement in the state that they were named after? Just like the Baltimore Orioles. The state bird of Maryland is the Baltimore Oriole. Which is why I'm glad they finally decided to bring back Baltimore to the uniforms. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
mmejia
Maybe my eyes are different than most, but I have always had a problem with red/blue striping without a thick seperation of some sort. It always comes off looking purple to me which ruins the whole look. The NY Giants pants are a prime example of this, as is this new jersey. Perfect Zero
I kinda see what they were trying to do with this. Wait, no I don't. This makes no sense to me to take a jersey that was ok to begin with and to vomit all over it. I mean, I'm as Texan as the next person (hell, I still consider this a 'former Republic' instead of a 'state'), but when you're at home, you don't need to tell your fans that you are from Texas. Things for the Rangers is going downhill, from this crappy excuse for a jersey to taking out the manual scoreboard in right (which was the ONLY think that made the Ballpark in Arlington distinctive). *sigh* Maybe President Bush could buy back the team from Hicks...The only good thing about this is that the current uniforms will go on sale. I'm gonna wait to give my opinion untill the set is actually released. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Sodboy13
Alt. Home 1:I'm hoping that this is just a Photoshop error - otherwise we've got a red outline against a red background, which is about as pointless as - well, the entire Texas Rangers franchise, come to think of it.So, what's the rundown here?- White "Texas" home- Red "Texas" alt- Blue "Texas" alt- White "T" home alt vest- Gray "Texas" road- Gray "Texas" road alt vestOr are they getting rid of the vests this year? BBTV
The T Vest is horrible, hopefully it's gone. The road vest looks great, but is totally unnecessary so I hope it's gone too. Joshawaggie
I would be expecting the Twins to have a memorial patch this season for Carl Pohlad, since they did it for Casey, Pucket, and Carneal. Anybody heard anything about them having patches made?Don't forget they also had the Eloise patch in there too. Seems we've had a patch for someone almost every year for the past 5+ years. @josh_j12 CFA- Fargo Bobcats

grmuckrakers
Well, what bugs me the most about the home jersey is that it should have the team name on it, not "TEXAS" on it and the sleeve trimming is awful in my opinion. Please show me where it says "Yankees" on the Yankees home jersey, and "Tigers" on Detroit's home jersey.(Not to pick on you. many people made the same type of comment.) The "NY" and "D" insignias do represent the respective teams locations, but they're not written out across the chest.

Monograms of the location on the left chest instead of the nickname spelled out are fine. Besides, the Yankees and Tigers have had their's for a long time, back when that's what was on jerseys, just the initials or a single letter. The Texas 'T' on just the home jersey would be better than "Texas" on the home, but neither is a decent replacement for "Rangers". https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
