2010 NFL Season

So far, the Lions are hanging with the Pack at Lambeau--only down by a score at the half. I'm watching this Lions team, and I can see the defense--or, at least, the front seven--is definitely playing harder this year. The secondary is still looking pretty shaky, though. Shaun Hill is a gamer, I'll give him that. Jahvid Best might wanna switch to a longer cleat in the second half--got a case of the slippies going on in the first half. And if that O-line can get their discipline issues under control, the Lions might actually start to turn a corner.

For what it's worth, Megatron has two TD grabs so far. On that second one, he made daggone sure to show the official in front of him he "completed the process". I thought that was kinda funny.

I know it's a bit late, but here's my predictions:

AFC: Jets over Texans

NFC: Packers over Saints

Super Bowl: Packers over Jets

I originally had my favorite team, the Pats, defeating the Packers in the Super Bowl, but after seeing how they've splayed so far, I thought it would be more likely that the Jets go to the Super Bowl. (I had a hard time saying that last part.)

What happened to all that offensive wealth the Bengals were said to have?

Carson Palmer is turning into piss poor QB.

If the NFL had relegation the Buffalo Bills will be playing in the UFL.

I'm wondering the same about Baltimore.

My guess is that Offensive Coordinator Bob Bratkowski has not changed a single thing in the past few seasons, and everyone knows exactly what his schemes are. The offensive line isn't helping either.

Why do professional football players make IDIOTIC mistakes like Nate Clements just made?? Fall down and let your offense run out the clock!!! (He intercepted Matt Ryan and was stripped during the runback. Falcons got the ball back.) :cursing::cursing:

And the refs screw the Lions over again, as they lose mainly because of a missed pass interference call against Charles Woodson.

If I owned the Lions, I'd be demanding an apology from the league right about now, for not only this game but the Bears game too.

By the way, the Rams of all teams might be tied for first in the NFC West after today. That's crazy.

Thank you, Baltimore Ravens, for beating the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

I love how on Sundays my Facebook news feed floods up with all kinds of asinine noise from Steelerheads when the team's doing good and winning...but when they're losing, or in today's case, lost, they're nowhere to be seen, not a peep to be heard.

Way to go, Baltimore Ravens. Way to shut 'em the hell up. :woot:

And man, them lions...Charles Woodson may as well have single-handedly saved that game for the Pack. But one of these days, I don't know when...but one of these days, these Lions are going to break through. (They should have in week 1...but I digress.) They're too good not to...penalties notwithstanding.

Big thanks to Roddy White for chasing down Clements and getting the ball back, then making two huge catches on the next drive.

Lucky win for the Falcons, but I'll take the W.

The Bengals schedule is too hard for them to give away games like this. I hate losing to the Browns. I'd rather lose to the Steelers (whose loss today helps with the sting a little bit). At least Steelers fans know how to win. The facebook idiot parade that's going right now on my newsfeed is going to keep me off for at least two days.

I'll give the Browns credit in that Peyton Hillis had a good day. He will be a pain in my ass for a while, I can tell. Having said that, the Bengals made a lot of their own mistakes that cost them the game. They outgained the Browns by 200 yards, but turnovers will eat you alive even against teams that are winless.

As soon as I saw Roddy White gaining on him I KNEW that ball was gonna get stripped. Man, what an ugly game that was. Atlanta didn't look good either.
