I have never understood why "fans" use racial slurs against opposing teams' players. If you're going to use the slurs, then use 'em on your own players first, then see how quick they are to try to whip your ass...

I've never understood why fans use racial slurs period.

Then again we are probably talking about people who go to games looking like this...

And acting like this...

I suppose we shouldn't expect much.

Stop being such a homer 'red. :P

The fans in Wrigley Field's RF bleachers have been shouting racial slurs at their own players for years. Get with the program.

Holy crap! That's freakin' hilarious! I had read somewhere that the Ravens had intended to re-sign him.

That's exactly what the Ravens thought ... but I guess was enough to make Trevor walk.

Plus NYJ makes total sense as he already knows the Rex Ryan system from back when Ryan was Baltimore's DC.

San Diego gets another game blacked out...this one against the Cardinals.

I just read that St. Louis has barely avoided another blackout; the Rams needed an extension to do so. Assuming the modern Rams soon revert to their losing ways, how long will it take until the gas runs out?

Jacksonville has also avoided another blackout, but that's kind of a given with Peyton and the Colts coming to town. Again, I'd like to see bets on when the blackouts start coming in.

Considering how the Rams are 3 for 3 on needing extensions on the blackout front, avoid said blackouts only through the extravagant charity of their corporate partners, and IIRC the NFL does place limits on how many tickets can be bought up by teams over a given season...soon?

The Browns looking like a big conatiner of neopolitan ice cream today with those pink wristbands/chinstraps. As mush as I don't want the Browns to beat the Bengals, Seneca Wallace is looking good, and should get the nod over Delhomme with or withour injuries being a factor.

Alex Smith makes playing like garbage look so easy. The Niners have a 14-7 lead over Atlanta right now, but don't worry. Smith will find a way to give it back.

BTW, did anyone else hear that the Niners starting strong safety Michael Lewis literally up and quit the team earlier this week? Yeah, I'm a big Mike Singletary fan, but he should be gone by week 6.
