Gothamite
Love what the Marlins are wearing tonight. Definitely their best look in my opinion. White jerseys with black caps for those not near a television. That's my favorite of their combinations, from what I've seen. Can't wait to watch when the Mets travel south. Sport
It finally ocurred to me what these colors and the whole presentation within the Marlins ballpark remind me of. Saltwater taffy
Brendan
I actually like the new Marlins stuff. The Marlin is a little too abstract but other than that it's a neat set. I just hate how the Marlins trashed a great identity that they won World Series with.
marlinfan
That set was far from perfect. 1997 | 2003
JStamper
The thing I dislike about marlins is how large the M is on the hat and how many times you see the same logo. M on hat, M on jersey chest, M on sleeve. Too big and too redundant.
sportstar1212
Why did they even bother to rebrand fully? What they should have done is keep the teal and replace the black with orange. It would at least pay homage to the Florida Marlins days while having a new, freshened up look. Instead, we have an eyesore of a logo and uniform. The Mojo Maniac
Very glad to see the orange lids in play for the Marlins after that initial shock when they were absent at the unveiling. I got my orange cap in the mail today and my all my friends had pretty much the same reaction: holy that thing is bright....but in a good way of course. From San Berdoo to Kalamazoo. The_Admiral
The black uniforms look good up front and terrible in back. Those numbers were just such a terrible idea. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

infrared41
The flat top of the A looks bad next to the pointed MI couldn't figure out what bugged me about that jersey (aside from the awful numbers on the back.) It's that A. It looks out of place. (Thanks.) Â Â Â Â

They've always been the Marlins, but not Miami. So you kind of want that to be out there, front and center, from a branding standpoint. But by next year the homes should say Marlins... assuming they put te marlin back on the M and not the "I" as it is, horribly, now. DaytonBlue
At least Miami gets some PR on the jerseys for all the money they put into the stadium. Lights Out
The only thing that bugs me about the Marlins' look is that they don't use the perfectly-fine team name script on the home whites. Teams that don't follow the traditional team name at home, city name on the road dichotomy are a pet peeve of mine. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
Lights Out
Those are the only tweaks I'd make to the Marlins' look. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
