Don't get me wrong... I was pulling for Dallas every minute of all 6 games. But I think some of my fellow Clevelanders have forgotten a critical distinction here: the Mavs won, NOT the Cavs. So that means the Cavs have just as many rings as LeBron: 0

And the idiots already think the big 3 should be blown up(Because if a team doesn't win a title in their first year together, it's a failure.)

I'm completely enjoying the idiots that say LeBron needs to figure out that basketball is a team game, because in this series he let his teammates take over too much. Also enjoying the usual Lebron can't get it done in the clutch nonsense (anybody remember the 2007 East finals vs. the Pistons? Or the Bulls series just 2 weeks ago?)

Congrats to the Mavs on a great series, they earned it. That collapse against Portland in the first round seems soooooo long ago.

Even after this loss, I'd say the Heat are the favorites for next season (if there is one), as I expect LJ, D-Wade, and Bosh to mesh more.

This series proved that Bibby is not a capable point guard. Personally, I think they should sign Iverson sice he said he wants to come back. If he accepts his role, it would make so much sense (Iverson gets a final chance at a ring, Heat get a decent point guard with loooots of heart. They're still going to need to draft a center.

Also, I really don't get the criticism of Lebron's comments. If people enjoy watching somebody fail, they should seriously get a life.

PS, how ironic would it be if after all the talk of Dirk and JKidd not having a ring, they win a title but don't get a ring?

It's not really ironic at all. Ring is a metaphor for Championship. Dirk and Kidd are now Champions... which can never be taken away from them, regardless if they get a ring/car/horse/necklace/whatever.

Irony would be Dirk and Kidd winning the Championship, but then the NBA defaulting on a loan, thus rendering the season illegitimate, striking it from the record books.

You summed up everything I've wanted to say really well. Also that article is hilarious.

And now they're playing "We Are The Champions" in the club.

Sports Karma exists. It has come full-circle for Miami.

EDIT: Mark Cuban dances to "We Fly High." Ok, I'm done now.

Holy cow.

I want Mark Cuban to buy one of my teams.

I just want him to become Indiana football's fairy godfather.

I'll stop cricising LeBron's comments when he shuts his mouth and learns some humility. Until he does (which may or may not happen, ever) the rest of the nba fans outside of the miami area are going to lampoon him, and justifiably. Get used to it.

Sorry if this has been covered, but was it mentioned why Dirk just left the floor like he had to take a crap as soon as the game was over?

I think Skip Bayless put it best:

I believe he ran for the locker room because he couldn't stand to look at DWade or LeBron and have to accept their insincere handshakes.

How come LeBron wasn't a douchebag when he was on the Cavaliers?

He was. Only a blind idiot couldn't see that the guy never really liked playing in Cleveland. The fans were just so hungry for a title that they didn't care.
