2011 MLB Postseason

I did cheer when I learned that the Tigers beat the Yankees.

I wouldn't be the least surprised if or when the D-backs lose game 5...^^;

If the Diamondbacks win tomorrow please jump off the bandwagon, true fans do not need usomeone like you bringing us down.

Now onto the Tigers, :censored: yes I am happy

And what is this "true fan" you speak of?

A true fan will never be pestimistic, a true fan always believes that they will win game 5. You are not a true fan, you just bring the dback fans down!

I'm also a Christian, and Chrisitans should be wary of pride.

How about being realistic?

Just so I dont bring this thread down, I will not bring religion into this. I am being realistic, Diamondbacks are a good enough team to beat the Brewers.

So who ya got in the ALCS? I've got a horse in this and I have no idea.

I think it'll be a pretty good series. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Detroit hung with the Yanks during the ALDS, and I'm taking them a little more seriously now. That said, I think I'm leaning Rangers in 6 on this one.

You mad!

I'm rooting for the Cards as well. Maybe a trip to the World Series will keep Pujols from going to New York to be the Yanks' new DH.

How could you, Yankees? Why did you lose to the Tigers?

Just to spite you, apparently.

and look who's left from the big bad AL east.............

If I was a Red Sox fan, I'd definitely feel better today than I did a few days ago. The AL East is out of the playoffs so fast that they're literally the ONLY division that's been eliminated from the race.

If I were a Red Sox fan, I would remain miserable because this isn't college football where the fortunes of your divisional rivals have imaginary ramifications on anything.

And they're still being used as a punch line by the media.

Mets fans should feel slightly better, as their 2007 team is no longer the whipping boy for countless sportswriters around the country.

I was going to go with because the Tigers won three games while the Yankees only won two, but your answer is pretty good too.

Now that the Yankees are out of it, I realize that I don't care if the Phillies win the World Series. I was just reflecting my hatred for the Yankees on a National League team.

Yea, that seems really mentally unstable. So what? The Yankees are not winning anything this year, so I don't care what you call me. ^_^
