NIKE NFL Uniforms

Recommended Posts

And lets not forget about the inside the collar words that I learned about back in February.

One of the biggest things I'm looking at is how they use collars at all - most NFL teams (well, a lot) have a contrasting collar or some sort of striping / design on the collar, and Nike's Speed Machine template really isn't very conducive to that because the collar isn't really separate piece.

We've definitely been told one player per team (though not any specific names), so that would make it hard to show off more than just the home uniforms.

Not seeing any new Nike alternates/throwbacks would be disappointing.

I'd be content with seeing just the home uniforms so long as they post visuals of the aways and alternates to media sites.

Yup. I'd assume after the unveiling the might not have a vehicle to introduce those in a live setting, but they also wouldn't have a reason not to show 'em off online.

For some reason, probably the color combos being similar, the Redskins mention made me think of the Chiefs. Remember when the cleats were released and they had silver/gray on theirs inexplicably? This talk of matte/dull gray has got me thinking...what if Nike plans on giving them the college treatment? Gray uniform with Red numbers outlined in Yellow...just a thought.

Could that mean the Packers finally get rid of Forrest Gregg's cluttered collar? >fingers crossed<

Who's ready to break the internet?

To paraphrase that Star Wars guy, "I think you overestimate our chances." As a percentage of web users, those excited about this release probably aren't 1/10th of 1 percent.

Perhaps it was hyperbole meant to illustrate how torqued up we are.

We won't break the Internet, but we'll almost certainly crash the forum.
