I hope this trade doesn't turn into Ryan Smyth II and they'll be able to re-sign Vanek, especially with the extra draft picks they gave up. The Isles can just get him back if he really likes it there.I think Vanek is a really, really good player who hasn't had a center for the last six years or so.
