WSU151 9,540 Posted April 14, 2015 Just so you guys know, Matt Wilhelm (one of the broadcasters) played in the NFL. It's still hilarious hearing him talk about football uniforms though.Wasn't he a punter or a kicker? (haven't done a search yet)

JTrainGBR83 187 Posted April 14, 2015 These news anchors are so painful. It's like a parody.
buzzcut 278 Posted April 14, 2015 When you have to resort to lettering on the pants, you become suck. Except in this case, the Browns are already suck.
CLEstones 628 Posted April 14, 2015 All the monochrome combinations look surprisingly good. To be honest, the ris shadow isn't terrible, it's not great, but not as bad as we thought. The pants though... Completely ruined.
ram29jackson 4 Posted April 14, 2015 there is nothing dumber than writing the team name on the side of the pants
BigEd76 326 Posted April 14, 2015 Oh crap....just realized it goes down BOTH sides
JESSEDIEBOLT 147 Posted April 14, 2015 Honestly...I think they are all hideous. The font and numbers look generic and out of place. There is nothing that stands out. I give it a 3/10, and proffered the old ones. Typical Browns, they can't catch a break (or football) on or off the field. I agree. These are garbage imo. Very disappointed.
waltere 537 Posted April 14, 2015 They're bigging up the contrast stitching as some kind of revolutionary '1st in the NFL!!!!1!!11one' deal. This is a design element the frickin' XFL used nearly 15 years ago.
Germanshepherd 1,007 Posted April 14, 2015 Sleeve stripes 9/10Numbers 3/10Colors 6/10Pants 4/10Helmet 8/10Overall 30/50 which is 6/10 7/10 for whites 6/10 for oranges 4/10 for browns overall is 6/10 behind Miami and Minnesota but above seattle jax and tb in nike redesigns.
DG_ThenNowForever 15,456 Posted April 14, 2015 Can't read this, Browns.Individual elements are okay. I hate the monochrome focus.

Sean F&F 44 Posted April 14, 2015 I think if they wanted the name on the pants, they should have kept the normal stripes going and put the name in the middle stripe. They're not terrible though. The CLEVELAND does look a little NCAA ish but it isn't that bad.
seattlesonicsofsacramento 98 Posted April 15, 2015 How legible is the orange wordmark on the brown jersey gonna be? I sorta wanna see a version that's white on brown instead. And they're not going to use those brown socks with the orange pants are they?
PhilliesPhan1325 65 Posted April 15, 2015 The nike guy really wanted to hammer home the contrast stitching standing behind the blue collar nature...
PhlyBoy 210 Posted April 15, 2015 Orange/Brown/Orange is my favorite. Orange/Brown/Brown isn't bad either. Those pant stripes though.....also not a fan of Cleveland so big across the front, but "it's for the fans" ($$$$$)
MJWalker45 5,517 Posted April 15, 2015 It's strange that the promo pictures have flywire on the brown jerseys but not on the white and orange. I can honestly say the only part I hate is the pants. I like the idea behind them but not the execution. Looking at the promo pictures I was afraid there would be nothing on the pants. That to me would be worse than half stripe/half team name. I wonder if Colorado will do something similar with the team name down the pants. And I really like where the stripes stop on the jersey. The only ones who may look wonky are those that don't wear sleeve caps.
logoman 74 Posted April 15, 2015 It would have been better if they had trolled everyone. This does not speak well for the future of NFL uniforms.
powersurge 65 Posted April 15, 2015 Just wondering...why in the world would you need to put "Cleveland" and "Browns" simultaneously on a football jersey and pants for one of the most easily recognizable professional football teams around?
