That team is a money pit. I think the Coyotes could have worked as an expansion team and not a slapdash relocation of an aborted relocation. Putting them in a basketball-first arena hamstrung from the get-go and started a chain reaction of never making enough money and doing things wrong. Even so, the terrible Phoenix real estate market would have been close to a knockout blow even if they had done everything else right. And now Lake Mead is drying out. I wouldn't want to do business in a desert right now. Maybe the 2013 Blackhawks were better than the 2010 Blackhawks simply because they overcame having Daniel Carcillo on the roster and didn't lose in the finals.
