Tracy MidGrady
While I also wish the eagles would go back to Kelly green and find the current look boring. I have never confused the midnight green for black and found issues with the contrast between the two colors.U know a color change is probably not going happen but we at least deserve a number font change and a change to Nike cut. I always hated shiny jerseys.
FiddySicks
While I actually like the Eagles current look, I really hope they don't just keep the current set and switch to kelly green. Honestly, I'd be happy if the Eagles simply switched back to this. Maybe a few tweaks, silver pants and number outlines, maybe update the wings slightly, but nothing more. Add a white outline to the wings and a sliver stripe in between green stripes on the pants and you have perfection.
nuordr
A couple quick photoshops I did a while back, showing how much better Philly would look with a simple tweak back to kelly. This is really nice and even though I said I like the current colors, the Kelly Greens are sweet. But at this point I would rather leave the uniform as is instead of allowing Nike the opportunity to screw it up.
JayMac
I hate the numbers but I also have seen what Nike does to the number fonts so it could be worse.
Coast2CoastAM2006
That pic of Cinncinati demonstrates how much better the Bengals' uniforms would be if they were less busy.Has there been a better example of the practice uniform looking better than the actual game uniform?no multiple shades of blues, silver, black. Just a basic navy and white jersey. I personally would prefer this, maybe with a few tweaks over what they currently wear. Spoilers!
tajmccall
A couple quick photoshops I did a while back, showing how much better Philly would look with a simple tweak back to kelly.Soooooo much better than almost- black on black. This is such an easy fix. The elements otherwise are fine. There really is no need to do a total faux-back. Just change the hues back to Kelly and watch that merch revenue flow back in. BrianLion
I think you also take the opportunity to eliminate the black from the Eagles scheme. Replace it with silver,
WideRight
I would keep the black but perhaps downplay it in favor of silver. The helmet wings used now are far superior to the older ones and you need the black to make those work, but you certainly could use more silver and less black on the numbers, striping, etc. I do think the current uniforms with Kelly Green instead of Midnight look great. But, this would require that the Jets NOT go back to Kelly Green, which I am fine with as long as someone could figure out a way to match the colors on the Jets' jerseys so that you don't have 3 different greens on the same jersey. Red Wine Pirate
I think you also take the opportunity to eliminate the black from the Eagles scheme. Replace it with silver, I agree. The black reminds me too much of the 90-97 NY Jets.

Lights Out
I really don't see the problem with midnight green. I think it's a beautiful and distinctive color. The real issue with the Eagles' color scheme is the use of black, charcoal AND silver all at once. A simple midnight green/silver color scheme would look amazing. hawk36
To me the problem with the Midnight Green is that it is actually the most similar color to how many fields appear on TV in Fall. Kelly green is much brighter than the field and thus provides a bit of contrast. Just me? Design Hovie Studios
Harmening
https://twitter.com/WarrenSapp/status/495807757627719680Looks like the jackets are a different shade. Brooks and Sapp are the most recent inductees and their jacket color is darker than that of Irvin's. This can't be just by lighting, right?Different HOF shield too. It's just a generic football jersey with no discernible branding. The raiders and giants can pull this look off but it's not like the eagles have a rich tradition of wearing a plain green jersey only adorned with numbers. I mean it looks good because it's classic and clean but there's nothing distinctive.

If the NFL was that worried about how well branded and designed each uniform was, I don't think we'd be seeing half-gold/half-black helmets or alarm clock numbers.
