aawagner011 2,390 Posted February 3, 2016 Would be a clash of ideas, IMO, to have both piping and the side panels. I think it works as is. It's fine that it's the only one without the piping, because it's already different enough as the only one with the tequila sunrise.

As I do, I noticed something I didn't before. The new Houston alternate will be the only one to not have a number on the front. Admittedly, I've never had front numbers on my team's uniforms, but I really don't understand this. Why do teams switch around which unis have front numbers and which don't? I can maybe understand if you feel it looks better with one wordmark and worse with another, but in instances where the uniforms are exactly the same? Why? I'm pretty sure you posted the replica Cool Base...no replica Cool Base jerseys have front numbers.

Maybe a little detail on the collar would be nice (just a bit of the sunrise like is seen on some soccer jerseys). To just dress it up a bit? But I agree that no full piping is needed.

FooMasterX5 49 Posted February 4, 2016 Pretty sure Céspedes jerseys last year didn't have the accent on the e. I like it.
Around the Horn 1,408 Posted February 4, 2016 I noticed that too.
TheOldRoman 1,292 Posted February 5, 2016 Yep, that's new. And I'm not a fan, at least of how they chose to do it. The accent mark is too vertical.
Almighty 68 Posted February 5, 2016 New specs on the flexbase jerseys from majestic´s webshop: • Patented mesh Air Belt™ for better air flow and less bulk under pant line• MLB center back neck CFX® silhouetted batter patch Anyone know what CFX is ?
logo-maker 94 Posted February 5, 2016 CFX stands for ChromaFlex, the company that makes the plasticized patches Link to their website (they also make the Super Bowl patches) http://chromaflex.com/
Almighty 68 Posted February 5, 2016 Thanks for the info logomaker, so the neck logo is now the shiny metallic looking plastic !? I :censored:ing hate that , makes no sense when the script or team logo on the jersey is twill fabric
WSU151 9,776 Posted February 5, 2016 What are the odds that a team in the near future will have all wordmarks, patches, and numbers in Chromaflex? I could see that happening. Maybe in the minors first.

Yankee1983 0 Posted February 6, 2016 But aren't they touting that the new twill is lighter this year? Plastic word marks would be heavier and reduce athletic performance...

With these new jerseys your butt/crotch might be nice and cold but your neck will be Schweddy

I have a Steph Curry Warriors jersey and the tag had all this "performance sweat melting fabric warriors to keep you dry and safe from the evil wicked witch of the moist!" Talk, yet it's completely ruined by the giant plastic patch. I feel like I'm going to get a giant circular rash right on my frontside every time I wear the damn thing.
Almighty 68 Posted February 6, 2016 Right, strange that home and away Warrior jerseys have the logo as a patch on the front, but the grey jersey does not. Only thing to do is to buy the authentic jersey with the twill logo, it absorbs the sweat, and it´s only about $300 if you can even find one, i can´t find them online. nasty scratches by the way, cut your damn nails !
