Cavs :censored: the bed in the second quarter and are down less than 10. That's probably a success.

If Cleveland is going to continue to turn it over at an astronomical rate, they will not only lose this series, they will be swept. If Curry and Durant keep tag-teaming at MVP levels then every game will be a 20+ point blowout.

Cavs need some serious regrouping after tonight.

No they don't. They just literally had way, way, too many unforced errors tonight coupled with horrendous transition defense. Those two aspects are a death sentence against a team this good.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Maybe this is LeBron dropping game 1 like he likes to do.

What a shellacking; most of it Cleveland beating itself. They look like a bunch of :censored:s out there.

I'm not even remotely surprised.

The only way the Warriors don't cruise in this series is if they take their foot off the gas like they did last year. I've got a good feeling they won't do that, but I felt that way last year

Game 2 on Sunday? What the hell are they doing?

Bigger audience with an earlier tipoff. Folks are home on Sunday nights.

NBA hasn't done a Saturday night Finals game in decades. They love Tuesday/Thursday/Sundays.

Plus, Stanley Cup and the NHL took Saturday night, plus there's a UFC card.

False. The Warriors had two games on their home floor after that with Draymond playing to wrap it up. So don't act like that was the reason.

Cavs in 6. Wouldn't be surprised by a sweep by Cleveland either.

Also, the Warriors haven't won a championship once without 2/3 of the Cavs' key players missing. Even then it was a struggle for them.

You are pretty much wrong on everything I've ever seen you post here.  Cavs also never beat the Warriors once with a healthy Steph or Green for 7 games.

Either way, Ty Lue continues to be a dear in headlights.  If his initial game plan doesn't work, that's it.  He is incapable of making adjustments in game. Derrick Williams needs to take 100% of Richard Jefferson's minutes.  And if Tristian is going to continue to look like an amnesia patient out there, then they need to play Channing Frye.  Frye can't defend anyone, but at least he can score.  Kyle Korver's minutes should probably be reduced in favor of Shumpert.  But what do I know, I'm just some schmuck on the internet.

Guys, just don't let this result distract you from...

...the fact that the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.

You're right on many of your points. I read somewhere that Korver had 0 points and was -8 for the night; that simply won't cut it against one of the most talented teams ever.

The Cavs need to generate more defensive pressure. Keeping liabilities like Korver on the floor doesn't help (although to be fair, it's not like Love or Irving are defensive world beaters as starters). Four forced turnovers - that's not beating Chicago, let alone GS. Defending the paint is the key.
