This above is why I really don't take this league seriously anymore...you can never enjoy the moment, it's always in the back of your head that a flag can/could be thrown, a play can be reviewed....etc. It's getting closer and closer to professional wrestling...if you can watch games any not take it seriously (like professional wrestling) then the NFL isn't too bad.

This!  Sometimes I wonder if it would be best to just get rid of replay entirely and let them play.

So the 2019 schedule has been released. Bills are playing on Thanksgiving Day for the first time since 1994! In other news, Browns get four primetime games and will play the Jets on MNF Week 2. The Texans will play the Saints in the MNF opener which will be a great matchup.

No reason for the Dolphins to be on MNF, especially at Pittsburgh. I can just imagine the announcers talking about how the Steelers are "moving on" from Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown for the entire game, while giving the Dolphins little to no thought.

According to sources (possibly even a confirmation, not sure) the NFL adjusted their schedule once the Phillies signed Bryce Harper and out the Eagles on the road for three straight in October, so there wouldn’t be any conflicts with potentials phillies playoff games in the stadium area. They’re the only team that got three straight road games (which I don’t think is a big deal at all, just saying).

Whats interesting is that there’s been several cases of a 1:00 Eagles game and then a Phillies World Series game right across the street.

While they're a team in the loosest term, go through the Raiders schedule:

Week 3 (Sept. 22) @ Minnesota

Week 4 @ Indianapolis

Week 5 vs. Chicago (London game and designated as the "home' team)

Week 6 BYE

Week 7 @ Green Bay

Week 8 (Oct. 27):@ Houston

Oh wow. That’s... something. Was it ever finalized where their real home games are?

Tampa got like two months of road games in a row this season, too. WTF? Why? They’re gonna suck enough as it is. Why make them play basically the entire middle of the season on the road? They put the London game in-between two west coast road trips, for goodness sake. That’s madness. I’ll be stunned if win more than two games next season.

They're using the London trip to reseed the turf.

Look at USF's schedule as it has a gap too. Between September 28- November 7, the stadium has just one event/game, a big gate game for USF (and on either ESPN/2) with BYU on October 12.

So the NFL is suppose to have 17 “historical” matchups, one each week, for recognition of this year being the 100th anniversary of the nfl.

Ah so thats why we likely got Buffalo and Dallas on Thanksgiving, because of the Super Bowls of the 90s.

Historical Matchup list

Yeah, Buffalo-Dallas isnt even the game that week...

And just like in the 90's, the Bills will get crushed on Thanksgiving by the Cowboys. I'll still be watching though.

One of those 2 wins will probably be against the 49ers in week 1. Nobody has any faith in a team owned by the York's.

Patriots are opening against The Steelers (again).

Because Dallas, Cleveland, KC, even the Giants wouldn't be more interesting.  🙄

IT's interesting that the game vs Cleveland is not getting any hype in Week 8 outside of being a late afternoon game and most likely CBS's game of the week. I think they wanted to make sure that if Cleveland is a 2-5 team they can bury it in the weeds that week.
