Once again, I think most fans would've accepted Billy becoming second in command. Would have been real cool seeing him get "promoted" to Red Ranger while Rocky became the new Blue Ranger. 2 hours ago, Bruhammydude said: This thread got Power Ranger-jacked, out of all things. Ben in LA
After seeing the photo, I had to tweet this question to the team.

spartacat_12
They seem to be continuing to put more emphasis on the ram head over to the L@. Here is their training camp hat that recently went on sale. Every other team in the league uses their primary logo (although the Bears have 2 versions, one with the primary logo, and one with the alternate 'B' logo). schlim
With the grey and blue cap, and those vertical white and blue stripes, it looks like somebody with a sense of humor just stuck a Rams logo on a Lions hat.
spartacat_12
Every team's version of the cap is grey. The striping behind the logos seems to match most team's striping patterns. https://www.neweracap.com/Sports/NFL/NFL-ON-FIELD/NFL-TRAINING-CAMP/c/SPONFLONFTRA?count=48&q=%3Arelevance#toListing The Rams' hat stripes match the striping from the yellow pants, which is the only connection I could really make. Cleveland has versions using the helmet and the brownie, I wish they'd just run with the brownie as the primary and be done with it.
dont care
Why is the colts one the only one with horizontal striping. They are the only team that has no horizontal striping anywhere on there uniforms.

So on the hats, the opposite is true.

Is it bad that, even with all the flaws of this set, I think the Rams look fantastic in this uniform combo?

Though I was personally fond of the football logo. Not sure if it was ever the Browns' official primary logo, but it's what I remember being used on TV for a while. The helmet as the primary logo needs to stop! Between the elf, the mastiff (dog) and the B football they've had some damn good secondary logos but refuse to ditch the helmet logo smh. Gothamite
I’m guessing that they thought a full-on version would be too derivative. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

Division 2 Winston-Sale State had a similar front facing ram logo for years and (to my knowledge) never got in any legal trouble over it. BBTV
Except both schools received written consent from the Packers to use those logos. I don't think there's an issue with the Ram logos, but it's not an accurate comparison. I suppose a more accurate comparison would be the Patriots-Roughnecks debacle of the NFL’s ridiculous claim that the latter is “too close” to New England’s.
