I thought it was the new wordmark, but one edge of the T has an angle that the jersey version doesn't.  Didn't remember seeing the yellow secondary logo recolor either.   For some reason I thought the shirt was referenced as a clue to the new set. Wishful thinking,, I guess.

As for the Commanders, it was just weird we acted like the identity wasnt confirmed after a clearly legit accidental reveal.

I think if anything it'll be a clue for the new City Jersey. I would be surprised if the Jazz walked away from the sunset jerseys with the new look.

I miss the days when you could do mock ups of all this based on info you got. Why can't the NBA/teams/whoever let us have fun? Haha

Barely no one likes gray alternate but they still going to keep it. Ehh...

Clippers also not gonna bring this color back and from all current red alternates Blazers is my least favourite so with that I'd switch to them.

I keep hoping the Pistons will come to their senses, drop the grays and bring back the red alt from the mid 2000s to match their traditional home and aways, but it never happens. If it's not happening next season, that means it will have been 15 years (!) since it was discontinued and most likely it is never coming back.

I really hope they get some fresh blood on their design team sometime soon - other than the 2017 primary logo, they haven't hit on a single design item in over a decade, perhaps with the exception of this year's Mixtape jersey. At the very least, I hope they bring back the classic court design next year instead of the monstrosities they've used this season.

Someone on the Pistons' design and marketing team seems to like them, and apparently that's the only thing that matters. Maybe the Pistons will be the "dark gray" jersey mentioned by Conrad? If they're not going to bring back the reds, I guess I could live with the "Chrome" if they made some modifications, such as eliminating the thick shoulder piping that doesn't match the standard home and road jersey, and doing something about the red accents that for some hard to describe reason have never looked right to me.

Edit: Here's a quick and dirty MS Paint edit of some wallpaper @Conrad. posted on his Twitter feed last year of how I think the Chrome jersey could be tweaked to be greatly improved. As mentioned, elimination of the thick shoulder piping and red trim just makes the whole thing look much more palatable to me.

That purple Statement has to be Charlotte... right?

All I care about is that we get rid of the purple "CHA" 3rds. They look horrible and we have an abysmal record wearing them.

I'm not really seeing the visual connection that they were designed in collaboration. Other than thinking that both were doing the same concept so probably better to market them together.

That said, gotta be one of the best City jerseys we've seen yet. A really nice job of going way outside the brand with the color scheme but keeping enough of the usual Wizards look that it feels grounded in being the same team.
