You say "should they get" as if someone's just going to give it to them if they want it. Temple tried and the neighborhood shot it down. 5 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." GDAWG
Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio doesn't believe that Deion Sanders would turn down an NFL job because of money, despite Deion's comments about never coaching in the NFL. I don't think he ever coaches in the NFL, however he would be a welcome change to the NFL coaching cycle that always recycles coaches and relies on the same trio of former General Managers (Charley Casserly, Bill Polian and Ernie Acorsi) to help them with those searches. Unsurprisingly, in the days leading up to the TCU game last week, as soon as Colorado arrived in DFW, several of his former teammates with the Dallas Cowboys attended Colorado related events. All the while, his former boss, Jerry Jones was busy creating "AI Jerry Jones" and trying to come up more ways to ignore Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor.
GDAWG
Every time Texas A&M loses, their Offensive Coordinator (Bobby Petrino) loses. When Petrino loses, all is right in college football for the week. 3

You have the Miami Hurricanes playing at Hard Rock Stadium, where the Dolphins call home, Temple at the Linc and Pitt at Acrisure. Technically... technically... Acrisure is shared between the Steelers and Pitt. It's part of the deal to build the stadium. And the plans Pitt had in place when they tore down Pitt Stadium to move to Three Rivers until Heinz was finished so they could build their Petersen Events Center basketball cathedral. If you've ever been there, these are the gates to the stadium. In the stadium, the Panthers and Steelers both have their own lockers. Other than the 'great hall' thing where the Lombardi trophies are stored, everything else about the stadium can be switched between Steelers and Panthers for game days. Similar to MetLife with Giants and Jets. In fact, during the college season, it's why one endzone says PITTSBURGH and the other is the / / / / / / endzone. They just paint the outline of PITTSBURGH black or blue depending on who is hosting. After the Panthers season is done, is when the STEELERS name gets added to the one endzone. And usually prior to that, there is no 50 yard line logo or its minimal since it's harder to paint over.

Miami could, they have the ability and land in and around campus to build a decent sized stadium, the other 2 do not have that ability.

Coach Prime's stock is skyrocketing and other programs will come calling when the regular season colludes. Because we all know how college football goes, he really could be one-and-done in Boulder. They should try to get their own stadium. It's a shame what happened with Temple. But thankfully, despite the efforts of the rich bluebloods surrounding Tulane, they were able to build on-campus Yulman and it has been a tremendous success. Those days of the Green Wave playing 3 miles away downtown in the Superdome were (much like when the Golden Gophers played in the Metrodome, or the Houston Cougars played in the Astrodome, or when the SMU Mustangs played in Texas Stadium, or when UCF played in the Citrus Bowl)... not good. It is such a better experience to be ON campus, for ease of access for students as well as for tailgating opportunities (college tailgating, on campus and under trees in greenspace, is SO much better than pro football parking lot tailgating): This: vs. this: Quote It is what it is.
